Found it.

Handles 3400G--pretty sweet, assume 4400G too!

Hmmm...I was thinking of a NUC to eventually replace my old Dell workstation as my Plex server. That could be even better.

You are going to need a fork lift for the Noctua. Also might want to grab a few 120 case fans in case you don't have any laying around. I have two 140 Noctuas in the front of mine and they keep the whole f'in thing frosty. That meshify supports 3x 120 or 2x 140 in the front.

Plex on a Lenovo Tiny looks like a good idea. So what do you use as storage for the plex data, external, nas?

...

How high quality you want to store, how often, and how long. GBs increase with those options.

Sir. You're smart enough to do GB calculations too.

True. I’ve not run a plex server before. Used to do kody on my pie3 1080p, nightmare with storage. Was hoping for some 4K goodness. I like the small form factor of the lenovo tiny, fits in the closet with router, or the tv bench. Just wondering if it’s worth getting one for plex, when it’s clearly limited in storage capacity. Or if defeats the purpose of having the tiny with a nas too, cost-benefit wise. Is it better to cable it directly to the tv for instance?

I don't buy new.pc parts very often and I feel guilty even building it in this current situation. Don't be too jealous. I felt jealous just buying a 2070s and not buying a 2080ti!

But this last year I took stock of whats important to me and my PC comfort was one of them. My current PC is still good (6700k and 1070) but my desk and chairs were awful

So I built my new desk, bought my chair, and got a beefy bonus from work so decided to give myself a nice build. Also got the audio interface and everything setup for streaming. I feel pretty comfortable now. My command center is what 13 year.old noodle jerked off to. Not trying to brag, just feeling good. Disregard the papers, I'm going through a lot of filing cabinet shit... And there's a gun if you're scared of those

Try Synergy - Share One Mouse & Keyboard Across Computers and get rid of that extra keyboard and mouse. I use it to control 3 computers alongside my main and it works fine. I only have one keyboard and mouse to control 4 computers. If I need one for the others, I have a Logitech wireless that works great.
