They've been hammering the shit out of my email addresses lately with this bullshit. .. I'll eventually pick the expansion up, but it sure as fuck aint going to be the $90 dollar version. This "expansion" is so content light that I believe theyre calling it "expansion" just so they can have the conviction to take the price tag seriously.
What I find the most tongue in cheek about the teasers for the expansion is that they go through and list out particular features of other features. "New zone to explore!" "New dungeons and strongholds to adventure through inside that zone" "New level's to get in that zone!" "New class with class story ... you guessed it, in that zone!" and then... have the audacity to follow it up with "More seasonal content to be delivered!" which has fuck all to do with the expansion RIGHT NOW.
I hope even casual Andy's catch how much horse shit all the advertising is. Bare bones ass shit and people just need to wait for POE 2.

They did the same crap with adventure mode in D3 xpak. It was pretty much the only thing I wanted, quest mode was aids, but they didn't want to put it into base game. And when they introduced rifts they decimated world drop rates (I was getting about 1/3 of uniques I used to get), so that was it for me and Blizzfags.

Love the cinematics and interested in seeing where the story goes, but won't pay 90$ just for that.
Spiritborn looks like the QoL people wanted in every other class combined into 1 according to reviewers. That's a plus in terms of gameplay for people who are looking to check it out.

"Selling the XPac but killing your game" in 5 easy seasons. I had already bought the xpac in a more optimistic time but in the last season everyone was playing Sorcs; now everyone will be playing SB, and then almost no one will be playing because Blizzard can't balance their game for shit.

Typical for these guys. Release OP mechanics thus trivializing the game and obviating the need for gear. And then the only real challenge is coordinating Dance Dance Revolution with your group otherwise you die.
