Heh, some are considering this a huge publicity stunt by the BBC. And the fact that it's been 12 hours since said leak, and no confirmed spoilers/torrents in any dark corner of the web is starting to make me think so as well. The denizens of the internet are not THAT well behaved.
Just watched this past episode. Pretty funny impressions going on. He almost nailed Nine, but Ten was a little off

Wondering this as well. It should have taken a grand total of 14 seconds before that shit hits the net. I'm recalling Rule #1 here: Moffat Lies.
He's probably enjoying a good laugh while myself and others refresh their private trackers and/or that pirate site with a bay every half hour until the weekend. And as an extra kick in the sack I'm truly only doing it out of fear of being spoiled.
Something hit me while watching the teases for the Finale. Clara could be a mixture of Rose and River, the only two companions to sacrifice themselves to save the doctor. Also River looked like she had white on so she could be a manifestation from the Library system. Or I could be wrong and Moffat will finally pull the Romana/Rani/Susan card to fuck with us. Or she is just a rickroll

I don't like the post Library River idea, but it would make sense.
My first thought was she's an amalgam of the Companions, but now I'm fairly sure she's either a Time Lady or a super evolved Axon. Or more to the point: I have no fucking idea anymore.
edit: For anyone wondering wtf an axon is, it's an old Who enemy like the Bene Tleilax of Dune, their technology is all organic, and they're one of the very rare civilizations in Doctor Who to have Time Travel. It's an Occam's Razor sorta thing.

Meant to post on this early but got sidetracked. Almost positive there was a veiled reference to the Valeyard too. The Doctor tells his counterpart he can just regenerate and eliminate him, while I forget the exact line he then says but it may mean a regeneration neither one of us will be very happy about.
Missed that one. Happy they finally put more classic references in the show so I can point them out to friends that only know NewWho.
I find it funny that Moffat and BBC said no one spoiler the Finale, but then release promo pics that do just that. going to be a mindfuck of an episode from the pics I saw. not going to spoil it. had enought issues on the Game of Thrones thread already with sandy vaginas

And if that 4th pic I saw with a certain car passing Clara is a legit promo pic, I think I know what's going to happen. That gives total credence to the common theory i've seen passed around.

It is. The theory i've been hearing used that exact image and more to prove it, but at the time I called bullshit, but now....oh man, we are in for a fucking treat this weekend, gentlemen.
Moffat must have pulled his head out of his ass for the finale. Lets hope he doesnt have RTD syndrome and make another questionable finale

That's the one thing I'm still boggled about. Even what I've read didn't explain the whole post-Library River we are supposed to see. It has to do something with the way he saved her into the data core of the screwdriver in the end of Forest of the Dead.
