I don't know if Cosby is guilty or not. And neither do you. The only people who know are him and these women.
But saying they don't stand to gain anything from this is just false. That Janice Dickerson woman has been on the news non stop since this thing broke, she is capitalizing off of it. She isn't the only one.

As far as the motivation of women, yeah, some do have motivation. However, many do not really seem to have any motivation that we know of. I see very little upside for actresses that are currently in successful shows to jump on this. Given so many accusations from women without any real motivation (and in fact, plenty of reasons why they would want to stay away), it seems pretty damning to me.

Yeah, it does. But someone already pointed out the child sex abuse at day cares case, and there are probably untold other examples of cases where you have tons of people saying similar things and it turns out to be bullshit. I really have no idea one way or another, but knowing that there have been cases where it turned out not to be true even with a large group of seemingly well meaning people saying the same things, I am hesitant to really come down on one side or the other.
It does bother me that a man can be a serial rapist for 40+ years and no one has any evidence, at all. Maybe there is evidence, though, and we just haven't seen it yet.

idk, anything at all. A fucking receipt for all of these date rape drugs he must have bought over the years, a witness who sold them to him to corroborate, a woman who escaped mid or before the rape took place, a goddamn police report, just one. Anything at all to corroborate the stories. Of course i expect that. He isn't fucking Moriarty, he's the Jello Pudding Pop guy.

I'm going to be real skeptical on any accusations that have a possible outcome of piece of a 400-million dollar pie, though. And as for a successful actress having no motivation? Part of a national scandal is damn good publicity.

the reason for lack of police report or any official allegation isnt because cosby is some kind of rape ninja. its because it makes it much easier to blackmail cosby with the threat of a charge. did he rape these girls and then decided to pay them off when they complained? maybe, maybe he raped every single one of them and decided that at 77 its too late in the day for them to do shit about it and so he stopped paying them. i think its more likely that he fucked those chicks legit and probably brought drugs to party with. some of these chicks saw an opportunity to soak him because he is married and a scandal may humiliate him.

I think his strategy of keeping quiet is mostly a legal move, but also a pr one. Anything he says, ANYTHING, will be used against him. Look at that AP interview. I don't know much about fancy people's problems, but I know enough that when accused of something you don't volunteer a fucking thing. ESPECIALLY if you're guilty.

Bro, pretty sure you and The Cos don't travel in the same circles. You might be surprised to find there is a whole industry that makes, markets, and sells drugs to regular people, who buy them at a big ass store, the kind that usually keeps records. Or a doctor who might. You're talking about a 40 year history of drugging and raping women and I am sure there is physical evidence to corroborate these stories.
