Yeah he earned the ire of some groups but he was making head way.

Then immediately after his character assassination/40 year amnesia wore off on all his alleged victims the black community did the opposite. Hands up don't shoot/blm/mizzou/mass stupidity. It's like their spirits' were broken.

It feels like someone wanted to drive a specific narrative and he was in the way.

Thats a factor but it doesn't necessarily mean he's not guilty. You can get voluntarily black out drunk and if someone has sex with you while you're unconscious its still rape.

However, I doubt thats what happened and I doubt they can prove it in any case.

Not sure you understand how bail works. If he posts the million himself, he gets it back when he shows up in court. Therefore, he's not using any money. If he uses a bondsman, he pays him 10% of the total and never sees any of it back. Therefore he is using his own money. Doesn't make sense unless he's planning to skip out. Not unless he'd have to pull the million out of some investments that would earn more than 10% in whatever time there is before the trial starts. But I imagine the coz has an extra million in petty cash somewhere earning almost no interest.

there are good legal reasons to use bail bonds instead of posting bail yourself - obviously if for any reason you do plan on leaving the country then its not your money on the hook. second is that there can be technical bail violations (crossing state lines, going within 100 yards of X or Y, etc) and they will gleefully keep your cash but won't keep the bail bondsman's money. lastly if you are liable for any penalties, court fees, etc it can be deducted from the bail if you put it up yourself.

so yeah if you are ever arrested and need a big bail, use a bondsman its just smarter from a financial sense. Cosby teaching us all lessons, even now

probably a better lesson though is don't go around roofie-ing chicks and having sex with them
