Well, anybody in a neutral position who reads the anti-Sarkeesian posts here (including many lurkers) is gonna think "Holy shit, these guys are fucking nuts". Why? Because the VAST majority of posts made about her have fuck all to do with her work and everything to do with attacking her personally, which not only doesn't count as legitimate criticism but is obviously a paper-thin excuse to create a villain to rally against. In fact, somebody reading the posts on this board might not even realize there is a wealth of legitimate criticism leveled against Sarkeesian that focuses on the many flaws in her actual work. A neutral party may very well get the impression that she is being unjustly attacked because she is a woman or because she's a feminist or because she's challenging video game "norms" or whatever. They may be tempted to see her as a sympathetic figure, since no valid reasons were given why she deserves the harsh labels being forced upon her.

Heck, it's been made clear many times that it's not enough to have her work looked at critically and discussed objectively. Nope, it is ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY that she be exposed as a liar, a fraud and a hypocrite. If a neutral party sees that he/she literally has no choice but to assume the offended party is completely irrational. How could they not?

I'm not saying Rerolled is responsible for X dollars in Sark's account, but we (Rerolled) have provided plenty of evidence that the internet is full of assholes who want a fight for the sake of a fight and are eager and willing to abandon logic and reason to get one. That's the kind of shit that pushes SJWs (and, to be fair, probably many who are not even SJWs) into donating, if only to feel like they're taking a stand against irrational angry assholes.

Let me clarify for the thousandth fucking time:

Legitimate criticism works against bullshit. Logic and reason are, in fact, the ONLY tools that work against bullshit. There has been a ton of fantastic legitimate criticism leveled towards Sarkeesian, and I'm pretty confident that no neutral person who ever read any of it felt that she was being unfairly targeted and decided to fight back by supporting her financially.

YOUR (and I mean YOU, Sebudai, specifically) approach, the "some people are terrible enough to DESERVE to be publicly shamed and ridiculed" rationalization, is fucking garbage. It makes you look like the vindictive, bloodthirsty, irrational asshole you are. Your presumption that you are in any position to decide who needs to be "punished" and how is asinine. It's almost as bad as Hodj's belief that he knows the first fucking thing about me and is therefore justified in his generous doling out of ridiculous punishments for made-up reasons. Neutral people see through that shit and are naturally turned off by it. They are forced to assume you're the bad guy, and with good reason.

Do you really think mocking and ridiculing creationists is what's keeping them out of classrooms? I got news for you: It isn't. In fact, when people are treated that way they tend to double down on their beliefs and push back even harder because they feel they are being unfairly treated. They also pay less attention to the legitimate criticism leveled at them because the assholes are the ones that are easier to argue with (on the grounds that they're being assholes).

It's really simple: Do you think Sarkeesian's a threat? If you do, then take her down by legitimately criticizing her work. That's the only actually productive tool at your disposal. Lashing out with personal attacks based on subjective misinterpretations only hurts your supposed cause. It's more fun, sure, but it is the very definition of counterproductive. I am truly sorry you are unable to grasp this simple point. In all likelihood, you're simply choosing to pretend this is not the case because you can't accept a world where you can't tell yourself you're doing the "right thing" by being a complete and total asshole.
