Our (customer) fix was to create more home bound forum posting game sites, and they sent in shills to pose as gamers to get people to buy. As far as my rips on McQuaid, it was because he was coming to the FoH forum to talk about, quite literally,
content that did not exist he said was in the game. My sources? Various internal employees that couldn't believe what the hell they were reading. As far as Schilling, same thing. And oh, hey Duppin, you need a little memory refreshing. Schilling didn't start posting here regularly until he formed Green Monster Games. Everything else was hit or miss at best about 10 posts. You know what would be best for everyone? Other than burning this entire industry to the ground and starting fresh? Just having folks be transparent about their product, get rid of company employees posting under pseudonyms (This thread is
* FULL *of that) and get back to doing two things. 1) Talk about your product and be excited about the game you are making, but be real about it/prepared to answer questions honestly without the spin. 2) Get rid of the fucking idiots on this forum that think some developer posting 90% spin/conjecture/marketing/bullshit should be accepted as solid content and posters should be able to see through it.
