So I was playing the game and noticed I was missing krono. I had heard of other people missing krono and it sounded like they all got told to pound sand. I was 100% sure I was screwed but thought about it and petitioned anyway. At the least I thought that it would help them track down the issue. A full day later I got a response and that response is the one that I posted.

They disappeared with no explanation. This wasn't a reverted trade. I have never had anywhere near this amount of platinum on me at one time on Teek. If they reverted a trade of item for krono why the fuck did they give me platinum? No one contacted me. I had to contact Daybreak.

Guise really isn't important to me, was more of an offhand comment that I spent 11 levels there and didn't see a single one, and did kill plenty of the right named. Was an oddity to me, as pretty much anyone that goes to guk and does that camp usually has one, first server I didn't see or get one. IIRC Call of Bones/ect satisfied any need for purchasing spells as an Iksar Necro in Kunark, with personas I can sell anywhere, and I have no need to shrink.

As someone that never had one on live until the casino came out, was there any other advantage, aside from running around as DE, which is my least favourite race?

I don't screw around with selling shit on TLP's, I buy 2-5 Krono at the start, get my essentials for whatever class for levelling, if the market is chaotic I may flip a handful. I buy most shit underpriced, I'll take days before I even start my character. When my banks get full of shit I hand it out to guildies or drop it on newbies that seem like decent folk, and are clearly EQ broke that I'm leveling alts with. Sure i'll sell pricy shit when I get it, but theres generally someone I know that would make use of it.

When i stopped playing phinny I dropped a fungi tunic, staff, SSHB + other good monk stuff on a low level monk i was grouped with, his reaction was worth far more to me than cashing out a piddly bit of Krono. That's old EQ nostalgia for me right there.

I may have done the typical FoH retard posting for decades like everyone else, but I'm actually a pretty laid back dude in games I play.

Did you recently buy a Krono with platinum? I think that is the “trade” he meant, like they banned the other dude and refunded your plat that you paid him.

What is the easiest route everyone is using to box on the PC they're playing their main on - I just want to box, not automate? Is there a free VDI/VM program you all are using?

I haven't bought a krono since they were a fraction of the going rate. The plat I received was scaled to that evening's krono price when I received the reply.

Something about this server, or at least the classic loot tables - is different. On Mischief, at launch, I could sit at Minotaur Lord's and get a JBoots Ring and a Pegasus Cloak to drop within 30 minutes. I still need a Pegasus Cloak for one of my characters, so I sat down there and hogged the entire cave system with my toons. Not a single Ring or Cloak dropped over 4 hours. 4 Hours doesnt sound like a lot until you realize that you're killing a Minotaur Lord every few minutes, and sometimes 2, 3, or even 4 of them at a time.

I mean, Im fine with them preserving the rarity of some items - but by the time I wrapped up, I was ready to try a different camp since I got roughly the same loot 90% of the time. At least in Sol A, I saw an actual Peg Cloak drop and two rings over roughly the same time length.

Spend a few bucks and get Multiplicity. Its like using a single PC with multiple monitors, but in reality, its multiple PC's. If you're "that" hurt up for cash, you can find the torrent. The older torrent versions have a flaw in that you'll need to at least have an actual mouse plugged in to be able to interact with certain stuff outside of EQ (login, etc.) but once you're in-game, you're good. Or, you could just spend the 20 bucks or w/e.

On a separate note - Just an apathy check. Kunark really doesnt do much for me. When I got the Tower Gear, I noticed that, as a caster.. I really dont even have to pursue BIS in the other slots if I dont want to. Has anyones care value towards raid targets outside of Epics dropped off a cliff, or is it just me? I'm still interested in playing, but Ive found myself doing shit that I normally dont do - like Tradeskills.

My toaster can run EverQuest. Even this 64 bit variant and theres a Direct X bypass to force older computers to run EQ. Its some straight "black people dont know what computers are" to think someone doesnt have a second PC, even if its old af. :trump: But maybe he does just have one PC as you pointed out my daytime drinking self.

I noticed both guk groups I was in around ass,(Yeah I said it, fuck you) it was always the same stuff, bunch of MM drums occasionally. Hamlord seemed much more varied, and spent far less time there.

I also think I had a misunderstanding how the random loot worked until I saw it in action. I had the idea it would drop at least 1 item from the mobs pool, and 1 from the random pool, or something to that effect. I must be getting mixed up with some other game on that one.

Everyone seems to be rushing into boredom with over 2 months before Velious, I mainly wanted to rush the necro so I could take it easy after, farm up my own stuff for alts/personas, pick away at TS (Can finally get ALL TS on 1 character with persona, first time I've wanted to get into TS since live) hell a bunch of things to pick away at and get out of the way before Velious.

The server is pretty casual and relaxed from the start with the tower gear, free trade, and random loot, but most people have this tryhard attitude that kinda spoils shit. Not talking about the actual top end guilds, just the server in general.

So potentially those Krono were "dirty" from a week ago and rather then refund the plat you paid they gave you current plat. That has to be the most competent thing i've ever heard of DPG doing.

Pegasus dropped 3 times in UR FP camp.

They might have moved loot tables to different mobs.

Still rng. The knight is the one that can drop peg, and I never saw it leveling up(spent 2-3 hours at FP) and even went back at 60 to try and get one and havent seen it.
