I needed to spend some cactuars to free up unit space so I could spend the last of the white phantoma on the remaining shop cactuars, so I dumped a bunch into Minfilia.
Then I noticed I used them on the 4* Minfilia I was TM'ing, instead of the 6* Minfilia I had already promoted to 6* lvl 1....

It is bordering on mathematically impossible for Ifrit to resist mag break 3x in a row so frequently. With 100% absolute sincerity I would joyously take the life of whatever piece of shit came up with the idea of break resists.

While recovering from three consecutively resisted mag breaks, it turned out that he had resisted my last two atk breaks too.

Was just coming to post this. Was cleaning out friends list of anyone with Type 0 still and was like uhh... well I guess he is FoH so he stays.
Neato! Did my daily summon and got a 3rd Olive lol, still haven't had the mats to get my 2nd one up. So hypothetically speaking, do I need to to take 2 chiz's and equip them with lightning weapons for instance so all 3 Olive's could finish with an elemental max modifier? (I understand that the "finisher" doesn't need to be of the element but since 3 of them would be hitting all about the same time I assume to keep the damage multipler they all have to be of the same element or the first Olive will break the chain? Or since it switches to a normal chain will it retain the max multiplier bonus as long as I got the timing down.

Usually run a pretty decked out Olive or pretty solid noct. Working towards getting him max invade but screwed up since I thought Quick Assault was 20% not 10....so finishing my 3rd quick assault in hopefully 2 weeks and Ring of Lucii in similar time frame so i'll have 3 QA's, Ring, Fixed Dice but will be awhile on the last 10%.

Sick of my alts so I cashed in their tickets on this banner instead of waiting for Orlandu so I can get the hell rid of them. One of them I probably never should have kept in the first place, but Lightning still has that nostalgia factor even if she's kinda mediocre these days (as far as 5*s go)
Account has Lightning, Queen, and MFina for 5*s, a full team of 100s already, and Roselia, Ling, Artemios, and Luna for limited units. Nothing out of this world but still a very solid starter if you want to get a friend into the game without all the tedium of starting at low level. Will let it go for 25 bucks if anyone wants it, I can give more details.

Wicked Peaks - Alluring Winds
Sorry. I'm bad. I've been doing TM farming at night, but otherwise all of my energy goes to Alluring Winds. I'm getting about a level every day, which means 5 free arena and (more importantly) raid orbs. Also means more total energy.

Matching elements makes the timing easier, since if Olives land before the absolute end of the chain, it will continue counting up the elem chain instead of dropping it to a normal chain.
That said, the only way to give Chizuru lightning damage is I think Equip Spear (Fang's TM) and Lightning Spear (Unique chest loot) or Equip Rod (Fat Chocobo) and Rod of Lightning (Craftable).
Aka, not worth giving Chizuru Lightning element. This is why I like Gilgamesh as a chainer more than Chizuru's. Wish I had a second
By the way.... Here comes Orlandu
Sidenote: Finish up your Ifrit raid soon if possible. Most friend units will be swapping to synergy units on Friday for mog event.

Yeah, I blew my luck on the People's Choice... oh well. I figured Orlandeau was at least another month out so I could save for a 2nd 11 pull. Maybe I'll still get lucky with 20 tickets and an 11 pull. Even with all the synergy units, there are enough non-friend units that can be pulled in for Ifrit raid. I will still be running it until the end to get Y'shtola and maybe the trust mog.
edit: Twilight - it's officially spelled "Orlandeau" in GL. So I guess you better get used to people spelling it that way.

There is speculation that the 1 year anniversary will bring Orlandeau back to the banner and it will most likely feature other very good units. Granted that is a few months out, but the other units on this FFT banner seem kind of meh and probably only really worthwhile for the event bonus.

I'm undecided if I'm going to go for Orlandeau. He's amazing, but his banner is one of the worst in the games history. Much sadness if I strike out.
I'll probably end up just treating it like any other mog banner: ticket pull until I get 4 synergy units, then stop. Maybe I'll get lucky.

I'm with you Sinzar. As F2P, lapis is a lot more precious to blow my last 5k on 1% chance to get a unit. I think I'll ticket pull and/or daily pull for synergy units and maybe throw a few extra mog shop tickets at him before the banner goes.
