Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius

I mean she's a cat girl but even that's not enough for me to pull for her... She's stuck as a 5 star maximum in a time when we are starting to get some very good 6 star units. My primary physical damage users are Chizuru, Cloud of Darkness and Bartz. I can't see myself dropping any of those three for Lid especially after I Awaken them to 6.

I'm not a huge fan of Tactics so I'm not going to pull hard for TG. I know he's amazing but He's another 5 star base and they're just too damn rare to pull for unless you're really prepared to whale. I'd rather pull for solid units that I have a better chance of obtaining. Right now my only real gap is a 6 star healer and since Fina is garbage I'll hold out for better.

No idea. The summer event units were top tier until they got overshadowed by enhancements. This event is just embarrassingly bad when pretty much everyone agrees that the best unit is the 3* booby prize.

Speaking of enhancements, Firion finally got his recently and with the Fin Briar and Legend Killer ones applied he's one of the best units in the game. Glad I have 3 of him at 5* 80, though unfortunately to really make him shine you need a dual wield materia for each one.

Boy if the event exclusive materia was actually party wide (it does say aura) that would definitely change things a bit. Sadly it's almost a standard materia since the text just says +13%x/+13%x

Ended the FFIV event with only 1 Cecil, and out of a combination of pissed-off desperation and knowing that there's no need to spend much, if any, lapis on the retarded Halloween units I did one 500 lapis pull. Score, Cecil #2. Not sure how to handle the LB thing at this point though. I think I'll just feed my first Cecil enough burst pots to hit LB 10-11 and call it good enough, rather than try to drive myself nuts grinding the new one all the way to 20.

On the topic of grind, I'm looking at about 225k candy corn worth of shit I'd like to buy. Might have to give up that second trust moogle though, depending on the drop rate of candy it may not be efficient at all compared to just running the ES Exit macro.

You cannot raise his LB above 10 at 3*, and nobody advocates stopping to grind it up at 4* and 5*.

Well, they do if you have multiple Cecils and don't mind an extremely long term goal. There are people out there who got him to LB 20 before raising him to 6*. I would never do it as long as I still had TMs to grind out though, so I doubt I'll ever get around to it.

And the LB 10-11 I mentioned would only be if I feed him 30 pots now and end up hitting LB 10 before finishing Excalibur. I'd just awaken him to 4* before finishing the TM, and hope he gets enough to hit 11 in the process.

I got mine to LB level 3 when I said fuck it and got him to a 5 star.

So I borrowed some money to get the adamantite chest, since I'll be getting paid at the beginning of next week. Except I only borrowed 50 bucks, the adamantite chest is like 52 with sales tax, and I had just enough left in my account to buy Nova for SC2 a couple days ago, so I'm short that 2 bucks. I figured since my bank is 20 minutes away it's very likely that I won't be able to drop another 5 bucks in there before they close tonight, which means I won't be able to do an 11 pull (or the tickets) against the banner. So I ragepulled a full price summon and got...Galuf. Then I ragepulled again and got Cecil.

My quest to get Cecil this week has been a goddamn Greek tragedy.

I'm hovering on the edge of whether to do an 11 pull or not myself. I really want Dark Cecil... but the chances are so damn slim I just know I'm going to add 5 Sabin's to my collection if I pull the trigger.

They need to give him his 5* Awakening and for his 5* LB he hops off the screen, then jumps back on and slams the phantom train down on the enemy.

And yeah I'd like a second Cecil so I could just rush one to 6* then go the full retard route of maxing the other one's LB after every awaken, but I don't want to do an 11 pull and get 4 more edges, a rosa, and no cecil

If it helps, my 11 pull was a single Paladin Cecil and 10 common units. My 4 star was a Vivi and there were some Shadows, Edgars and other junk units. Without the Cecil it was a terrible pull.

Mine was about the same, got Rosa as the 4*, a 5* Roselia I give zero fucks about, a bunch of trash not even good for TMs, and then the 11th one was Cecil. Daily pulls and a few tickets were like 3 Rydias and 3 Kains (wtf they aren't even on the banner and I have 7 Kains now), a couple Clynes, and Edge. Actually getting the second Cecil on the full price pull was a goddamn miracle after all that.

talk of making LBs has me confused. I just started using Memu and doing TM farming runs, this is incredibly slow. I get maybe .1-2% over 6 hours. Is Limit Burst supposed to level up about the same speed? My main guys that hi've had the entire time are still level 1, maybe i'm doing something wrong. What is there a reason to level TM/LB before awakening?

I have 2 Cecils, one 4* and one 5* that are low level. I'll swap the 5* one in for Fina once he's high enough again. I also have a Ludmille that i obviously want to TM farm, dualcast seems brokenly OP, but 3.4% thus far.

I can't beat Vortex of Trials nor Babel - Pro, so not sure where progression comes from next.

a hero should use their LB about 2700 times in the ~10000 earth shrine exit runs it takes to run a TM from 0 to 100%, which will get a 3* LB to 7. If you've already awoken both your Cecils past 3*, it's too late to farm their LB because the leveling cost rises dramatically with each * the hero has.

I'd think that team should definitely be able to handle Babel - Pro, but you need to go in prepared.

Stock up your items with a tent, max turbo ethers and ethers, petrify cure, silence cure, sleep cure, and some phoenix downs. (forgot the name of the cure items). Make sure to bring a high level, high dps guest member with you (Lightning is generally best). Even if you don't have any Lightning whale friends, you can grab one that's not friended and take them. Just run earth shrine to reset the list of guests you can bring, and keep doing it until one with 400+ atk pops up.

Materia you will "need" are bar-fira, bar-aeroa, and a way to dispell (your ramuh should have learned dispell hopefully).

Scarmiglione: Give him a phoenix down for instant win

Rubicante: Cast Bar-Fira right away, and keep it up if you take more than 3 turns. Use ice attacks from units that have that option. Check his buffs each round, and dispell him when he buffs himself. If you have someone on Shiva esper, they are weak to fire and may want to spend this encounter guarding each round.

Cagnazzo: Use ice attacks again. When he gathers water and buffs himself, first dispell him, then nuke him with a magic spell to disrupt his tsunami. This boss does very minimal damage if you disrupt tsunami.

Barariccia: Keep bar-aeroga active always during the fight. When she gains her buffs, dispell her. Whoever's on Golem is weak to wind, and will be very likely to die when she does maelstrom, but it's the last fight, so perma guarding them is pointless.

Wait, pro? Not elite? Do you not have any 6* Lightnings on your friends list? A full party of 5*s along with a decent geared lightning should be able to handle pro with no problem.

Petrify cure = gold needle, Silence cure = echo herbs, Sleep cure = smelling salts. Sinzar you just lost all your final fantasy cred. Also, you can just restart the app to reset your friend list.

In the future if you want to buy anything for the game it's worth setting up a phone or emu with the Amazon version. 5000 coins is $41.00 even when not on sale and Amazon does kickbacks on purchases made with coins fairly often (most recent one was 10%, so at least it covered the tax and a little extra).

Quick event shit:
Bring fire, especially mages using Fira. BGN is 5 waves, INT is 10, ADV is 15. MP is an issue. Still easy though.

Pumpkin Rider is a plant and a demon, and also weak to fire (but only 20%). Bosses have super high DEF and resist breaks.

Pumpkin Rider ADV is 1550 corn. Everything else sucks compared to that, so don't do any of the others more than once. At least this event is a simple grind and the spreadsheet says I can get 350k+ if I do nothing but grind ADV for the next 2 weeks. Only need ~200k so we can get back to TMs pretty early too.

PRO isn't released yet, and may not be until Halloween. Hopefully it's even better candy/NRG.

The cost of the second trust moogle is 828 NRG and it's only worth 200 NRG. Hell, even the first one costs 360 NRG, but at least you can argue it's kind of worthwhile since it is 10% all to one unit.
