I started using keepass after I somehow inherited the job of remembering all of my wife's passwords. After her yelling at me a few times I said "fuck this shit" and murdered her and decided that keepass was pretty cool for my own passwords.

There's a checkbox in your sound options for mounted music. As much as the chocobo theme makes me smile, having it start-stop so often was a painful reminder of how fucking annoying it is to have to dismount to do anything at all.
I also disable system sounds (no more beeping when I spam my macro) and voice (no more obnoxious retard grunts during combat)

I would have figured you'd enjoy the constant "Unf, unf, unf".
I leave those sounds on just to piss off my wife when she's playing too, since we're in the same room. Ho ho ho. She says she can't figure out why they're still on. I should tell her that she's ruining my immersion.

I've always turned off the music and shit as well, but i actually quite enjoy the music in most areas in this game. Aleport really reminds me of Xenoblade Chronicles' OST

I wonder how much the game will decline once the included month is up for non-legacy folks. Is there enough to warrant a sub for a majority of us playing now?

Not to be Debbie Downer, but if we have to wait another 2 mos for more content, you will definitely see a huge dropoff. no one is going to be running 1-2 dungeons over and over for the next 2 mos.
Do AK runs later in the week, the wait times are not as frustrating.
I think a lot of people will branch out into crafting and alt class/jobs. Gonna guess a mini-patch with some minor content in october, then 2.1 in November.

Yeah, the urge to login has just about completely disappeared for me. Then again, I'm not really an alt-a-holic, and it looks like many high-level people playing are still keeping busy that way. News that the new 24-man raid dungeon is going to beeasierthan BC doesn't inspire me to wait for it. Not complaining, I got my ~$20 worth out of the game and it was what I expected.

I'm getting there. I've got like 3 pieces of darklight to go, but I kind of don't care. They're not really upgrades over the AK pieces. So it's kind of like, why bother logging in? I do enjoy the crafting, but the problem is it's basically a quick way to bankrupt myself.
