I got that, thanks. This is what I have atm :
DL is a huge upgrade over AK armor - not the jewelry but that's because spell/skill speed sucks.I'm getting there. I've got like 3 pieces of darklight to go, but I kind of don't care. They're not really upgrades over the AK pieces. So it's kind of like, why bother logging in? I do enjoy the crafting, but the problem is it's basically a quick way to bankrupt myself.
Except in the case of the items I have left to upgrade, they're not. I'm a bard, and I've got pants, earring, and neck to upgrade still. The stuff I've got on all has +crit/dex whereas the DL pieces are pretty shit. Really the only thing they offer is a tiny bit more vitality (and I think that may only be on the pants). So like I said, I'm not nearly as excited to log on as I had been.DL is a huge upgrade over AK armor - not the jewelry but that's because spell/skill speed sucks.
Was a tank, he said the second boss is a dps check (after we killed the first boss), then we cleared to a chest and he left. I said "fuck it" and went to ride bikes. There's no such thing as being under-geared for AK unless you just plain didn't do your level 45 armor quest. Whoever told you that shit is an idiot.
Yeah, he's a moron. Was a tank, he said the second boss is a dps check (after we killed the first boss), then we cleared to a chest and he left. I said "fuck it" and went to ride bikes.
If you have Black Mages/Summoners in your party then Foe's Requiem is worth keeping up, otherwise there's not really anything else to use in Dungeons. Note that it only affects Black Mage, Summoner, and White Mage damage. It does not have an effect on *any* Bard ability, even the Fire Circle one, as they areallactually Physical damage (specifically Piercing). What song do other Bards run though dungeons with, I just keep Foe Requim on for the most part, except if I know the boss fight is long and will keep a eye on healers mana but, not had any situation yet where healers are in desperate need of mages Ballard
I think it's really a lot of people want to farm their tomes fast, and it's not fast if people are undergeared. Issue mostly is the tomes coming from a shitty lvl 50 4man dungeon buy you the best gear in the game(or well on par with allagan), so even people with relic +1 still farm it.There is the start of the entire "gear score" mentality. It will only get worse one you have a gearscore right by your name. Right now its" Must have AK gear to do AK." Soon it will be "Must have 458 gs".
Elemental Damage song doesn't reduce your DPS in any way, so if there's a Magic user int he party there's 0 reason not to throw it up. It's a pretty huge boost to party DPS, especially when you run Battle Voice with it.In dungeons I don't use songs, I just DPS. There's a rare occassion where we've got a lot of shit going on (Krassus pulling the entire front part of CM to the boss) where I use the TP/Mana songs.
Otherwise, the only place I use them is BC or HM Titan.
Well, Wall is a DPS check in that if you really truly fuck up you will auto-die to it at a certain point.I think it's really a lot of people want to farm their tomes fast, and it's not fast if people are undergeared. Issue mostly is the tomes coming from a shitty lvl 50 4man dungeon buy you the best gear in the game(or well on par with allagan), so even people with relic +1 still farm it.
That said yeah idiots still will be an issue of their own. It's hilarious that people tell other people they're undergeared for AK, when most of the people with a clue actually started farming AK right after hitting 50. No one really did a lot of wanderer I don't think, other than for getting your relic item, and you can do AK easily in quest gear. AK is 100% skill check 0% gear check, and the skill check isn't even that high. Wall is definitely NOT a DPS check, it's a "can you stand out of the fire" check. It takes so fucking long for the wall to finish moving and it has such low health anyway. Only reason people fail isn't lack of DPS, it's lack of people being alive.
Can't do much about that in duty finder dungeons though.
