Totally expected. Thankfully I'm doing the mmo of the month thing, so SWTOR will probably be up~

Botany wasn't nearly as bad as mining. Probably due to my having access to max crafting classes to make sure I have an easy time with the rating based leves, as I was easily able to 25% all of them. The mor dhona leves with them right next to it and only 4 nodes is fantastic for that.

Now, to get fishing up... =\

Kinda expected the 24hours maintenance. Considering how bored I am when I login, I don't really mind much tbh. I'm more inclined to think it won't have as many issues with that kind of maintenance versus like 6hours or whatever too. I'm sure it'll have issues once it's up, but I think we should be safe from moving ETA and stuff when they take a day for it.

Need to get all my things in order for next week. PCs to dust, food to stock, retainers to empty and then I'm ready.

Yeah, cleaning out my retainers is going to be at least a couple of hours worth of stuff, because I can't stand throwing out things I might use in the future. I've got 3 of them and they are like 150/175 each =|

At least once I start getting the rest of my classes up I can start killing all the sub 50 gear, as I have -tons- ilvl 100+ stuff for every class I don't actually have at max. Lots of armory/inventory space being used by low level crap at the moment, and some crafting stuff I just need to get rid of.

I'm just hoping they let us convert our i95 (Leviathan) up to Soldiery/High Allagan gear into GC seals. :p That crap is taking up space, yo.

Leviathan is probably not changing, you can already convert i100(ST) so yeah. Rest I don't know, maybe maybe not, it's glamour stuff anyway.

I had already started cleaning my retainers last time I was playing, I auctionned all my crafting materias and most of the valuable monster drop materials I had, but I probably need to make some more space, it's annoying. I have way too much crafting stuff too, but I don't really want to sell it, having one stack of every material on hand is great for whenever you need to do something. Though I guess technically it's mostly when I help people, since I've had every class at 50 for a while so I never need like newb gear or whatever.

They allowed delivery of Titan/Ifrit/Garuda, so it seems weird they wouldn't put Leviathan/Ramuh/Shiva gear on the GC tables as well. Soldiery and HA gear seem a natural extension, though more likely the Coil gear will end up as desynth bait for later on in the way Allagan Silk/Leather/Wootz were for the i110 crafts.

Plus, since i130 will be deprecated well before Lv 60, I don't see how it's unreasonable to expect the ability to turn it all in for GC seals and/or desynth it.

Anyone on Gilgamesh I can bribe to take my undergeared ass through some of the storyline dungeons?

Just queue for them, as a DPS it took me about 10-20 minutes to get queues for the story dungeons on a random Friday at like noon Eastern time. No one cares how good your gear is because most people are running them as roulettes to gear out their alts.

Wooo thanks. Think I can pull that same shit with the steps for the relic weapon?

Relic weapon depends on the time of the day. That stuff all got put on the trials roulette but some times that shit takes forever. The other night we queued as tank and dps and it took like 3 minutes. The next night some of the guys in my FC queued as DPS and Tank and they waited for like 30 minutes for a healer.

I'm fine with the wait, I'm more worried about getting my shit pushed in and getting booted or the group falling apart.

There any crafters willing to cut me a pretty large discount on some gear in Gilgamesh (BRD)? I've only got ~100k and most of the stuff is 40-80k a pop.

edit: I'm running Crystal Tower whenever I can, but I want to finish the storyline shit ASAP.

No one will boot you from Relic or story mode shit. I mean, if you go full retard and run off the ledge 6 times a row on titan HM they might but you have to be pretty bad (not bad gear) to get booted from a group.

Also, grab the quests and run the HM dungeons when you can, that shit gives a ton of tomes for first time runners, you should be able to easily get tons of gear off that.

Chimera is going to be your big bullshit wait for relic, as it is the one trial that is -only- used for relic and not bright light farming/ponies/etc. Literally just running each one of the dungeons as you open them once and just doing your roulettes as you open them will get you more than enough gear to finish the storyline shit. And keep working on storyline shit because it opens a dungeon and some trials, which you'll get first time bonus on as well. Just look at previous posts by myself, Pyros, or Kriptini if you want tips on getting geared/ilvl stuff for the xpac. We've covered this a few times each.

All of you bored people can login my WHM and finish off 2.1-2.4 for me. I won't be sad, and it'd give you something to do. ~ lol

To be fair Kriptini recommended doing the Relic as have a couple other people.
Yeah, it's one method. I hate spending money so I personally say skip the relic altogether, as the soldiery/poetics weapons are roughly the same difficulty and substantially less grinding. That said, either way works, but chimera is definitely going to be the "wait" part of doing the relic. The hm primals are substantially faster queues, even for tanks/healers.

Doing the relic saves time in the long run because you get to spend soldiery on other things while acquiring your relic. Just stop once you have your Zenith. (Plus it's faster to do the relic quest than it is to run ST 11-13 times.)
