I would probably not even do Zenith, it's like what 300soldiery or something, for a 10ilvl upgrade, not worth it if you ever plan on getting a sold weap(and you probably should). Arguably though, you're a lot better off just buying one of the crafted i70 weapons, it's roughly the same price as a relic precursor+2materias and you skip the entire process.

As for getting kicked out of stuff, people don't kick from shitty gear in any non coil non extreme content pretty much. Unless you're being afk or whatever. Even if you just walk off the platform on titan hm people wouldn't kick you cause it's gonna die with 7people just fine regardless. Hell I've done it 2man for the last 30percent on a run a few months ago because people were being terrible and I didn't feel like wasting mana rezing them anymore(and half of them were off the platform anyway). Maybe in a 4man dungeon you'd get kicked cause it'd be more obvious if you're atrociously geared and could geopardize success of the run(like if you're the tank in lvl 20 gear in a lvl 50 dungeon) but otherwise no one really cares too much.

What are you guys doing with company seals? im constantly stuck at 40k cap ive bought all the gear for DoW/DoM so i have those sets, i didnt notice anything special there that would sell well in the AH just curious what you guys do with your seals when you hit the cap.

Are consumables a big part of end game raiding in this game? im trying to figure out what professions i want, money making ones would be good, but ive always liked being self sufficient when it came to consumables and such, but i guess if im making money hand over fist, buying them wouldent be an issue, on the other hand what materials sell well, that i could just mindlessly grind while i watch tv/smoke mining?

yeah ilvl55, it just sucks to watch my HP melt during runs when most other people can take it.

On the otherhand, if the raid executed correctly I wouldn't take that much raid-wide damage (Bonerdagon in CT).

Food is a decent money maker when a new raid is released and gets a bit slower as people get shit on farm.

GC seals are pretty much useless once you don't need the leveling gear for alts. The mats you bought with them used to sell for decent cash but on my server they have tanked.

GC seals are good for ventures and lucis materials if you're into crafting, that's about it. I mean there's a few more things you can buy like the +xp crafting/gathering consumables and spiritbinding potions but it's fairly specific and no point in stocking up. Retainer ventures are probably the best thing to dump them in.

it literally took me like 1-2 days of doing daily/hunts + whatever relic stuff i did to get full right side ilvl100, and most of left side ilvl 100, its really not that hard/bad to get ilvl90 needed for the story hunts are great.

yeah i figured i bought up a bunch of ventures like over 150? i think just because i was sitting at 40k for like 3 days, and thats pretty sweet then my THM is already 26, and my conjurer is like 16? my lancer is almost 34 so once i get him done, ill have everything for astro/machinist, i dont think ill ever want to tank its not something ive ever done, but maybe it would be fun idk, it didnt take me that long to lvl the alts as i thought and im almost caught up on MSQ, so maybe ill have time to get the classes for DK up there.

Damn im torn, between the 3 new classes, I already have (arguably) the top dps class, machinist looks awesome but having 2 dps classes would be kind of redundant in gearing and such.

Astro looks pretty interesting and i havent read much on the tank class, ive always healed or dps'd in MMO's

Ninjas are very good. They are ping dependant though, so if you have really shitty ping, you probably don't want to play one. Every class is good tbh, at least atm the balance is really solid, melees do a lot more damage than ranged but ranged have specific strong points(BLM is king of aoe, summoner has combat rez and bard has songs) and being ranged obviously.

And ninjas don't really have positionals atm. Only a backstab every minute, which is pretty simple. They're adding a bunch for the expansion though, so yeah that's probably going to be very different then.

And expansion was supposed to be 4 classes, but they had ninja ready earlier so they patched it in before the expansion. You don't see that kind of shit very often in mmo, both having more than 1 class for the expansion or patching classes in before an expansion.

Ninjas are getting positionals in the expansion so be aware

positionals aren't too bad i dont think, its kinda weird that every stealth ability they have is on a huge CD though, even their rogue execute is gated by a 45 second CD

well see how it is later anyway, i did 1-22 last night before i had to bail lol

I had issues on the mog station too. There is basically something you have to click to "add a pre-order." It isn't just an optional code.

Early Access Registration
Windows Version (for users who pre-ordered the physical package or download version)
How to register:
1. Users who received an 18-digit (AAAAAA-123-AAAAAA-123 format) pre-order code will need to redeem this code on the Heavensward pre-order website (FINAL FANTASY XIV: Heavensward) to receive your early access code (20-digits). Additional details on this step can be found here.

2. Once you have your 20-digit early access code, log in to the Mog Station (http://sqex.to/Msp) using the Square Enix Account you wish to participate in Early Access with.

3.Select the "Your Account" tab on the top-left corner of the screen.

4.Select the service account you wish to register your code on. If you have multiple service accounts (represented as tabs named FINAL FANTASY XIV 1, 2, etc.), please select the service account you wish to register your code to. If you only possess one service account, proceed to Step 5.

* Please confirm the appropriate service account by verifying that the service account has the character names and Worlds that you want to send the bonus items to.
* Please be careful as your bonuses will not be received on your desired service account if you select the wrong service account.

5. After confirming your service account, select"Enter Pre-order Bonus Code (Early Access Code)."

6. Enter your Early Access Code, then click ?Next.?

7. Confirm details, then click ?Next.?
I didnt get a pre-order code from GmG, all i got is the 20 digit early access key...

somebody said you needed to complete the full story to play as a dark knight, is that true?

Yeah. You have to complete up through 2.55 of the story to access the storyline/main city of the expansion, where the new classes are unlocked.

Motherfucker. Is that max level? guess i have some grinding to do this week!

Just hitting 30 on my rogue, already have the 15 requirement for ninja so i'll probably just grind ninja to 50 since my highest is only a 35 paladin that bored the shit out of me.

Yeah it's max level, and it's a LOT of quests after that. You're probably not gonna make it I'd say unless you play an insane amount. Plus side is you'll get xp past 50 once the expansion hit. Downside is you're gonna have to do 50 trials and shit while most people will be doing other shit, which is going to make the queues even shittier, and you're a DPS so you're probably going to have like 40mins queues for everything.
