They produced the 2600 from 1977 to 1992, so most of the board could have technically played it new, even if they were toddlers mashing button. I remember seeing the woodie version and paddle controllers at some relatives house, but only remember playing the black and silver plastic version with joystick.I played the Atari 2600 when it was brand new.
