Gamestop has had a few exclusives over the years, but they were all console games. Like the first Xenoblade Chronicles for Wii; they got in on that when Nintendo was still debating whether or not to even bring the game to the US at all. Secret of Mana PS4 and Tales of Hearts R on Vita are the only other ones I can remember offhand, but there were definitely others.

I didn't look up his story and probably wouldn't recommend it. I only know about him due to the case he is being arrested for in this video. His arrest was posted somewhere around here when it happened, just not with the police body cam. It's probably a 4chan thing or maybe he was a Twitch/Youtube personality (and this probably should have went in the twitch thread), but as the video states, he was charged with raping his disabled mom, who he was supposed to be taking care of.

I think it was Big Phoenix who gave the cliff notes on who he was and what he did outside of this particular case, last time.

Pretty genuinely autistic, he has a deep devotion to his fanmade sonic lore. 4chan was a huge fan of him back in the day and nowadays there's something of a cult following if not out right stalking around the guy due to how weird he's turned out. Some really deranged people analyze the guys life making hours and hours of content about Chris. It's really wtf.

iirc the arrest was the result of him admitting to sexually abusing his elderly mother who he lived with in a phone conversation. The person who recorded the conversation was basically a stalker who tricked Chris into talking about it.

I'm not a chrischan lore expert but I've read a little over the years. Wasn't he a relatively "normal" autistic kid when his dad was still around? And then he spiralled down into the pits of hell when it became just him and his whacko mom?

gamescomm starts tonight or tomorrow so should see some game announcements and stuff there. indiana jones is releasing this dec but looks like it'll come to PS5 next year, been a lot of rumors of Forza Horizon 5 coming to PS5 too

Chris Chan sold some of the Sonichu medallions online and the YouTubers who wore them have all had unfortunate downfalls.

IDubbzz was a huge YouTuber and was sent the medallion in the mail for a fan unboxing video. He wore it. He is now bankrupt from failed YouTube boxing, disavowed his audience because he failed to take down Sam Hyde (they sided with Sam), is apparently getting a job at Panera Bread and has a few thousand views on his podcast about his personal life with his boring onlyfans whore wife (he took her surname).

Boogie2988 was another huge YouTuber who wore the medallion as a joke. He got divorced, spent his YouTube money on escorts, got a felony for firing a warning shot at a troll who came to his house, is a borderline pedo dating a girl out enough to be his daughter, faked having cancer and is now some kind of slave to Keemstar.

Nick Reiketa was the biggest streamer on YouTube and invented the law category, a comservative family values guy peaking during the Rittenhouse and Depp trials. He became the go to lawyer to invite onto streams for any kind of streaming law issue. After wearing the medallion he stopped practicing law to get drunk on his "comedy" streams, culminating in him being sucked off on stream while high on coke by a woman he was in a polycule with. The police raided him and took his coke and his kids away, now awaiting trial.
