yeah 1900s sicily will be interesting, all the mafia-themed games and shows basically show everyone fleeing italy of the time so it'll be neat to see how it actually plays out with old vendettas, strict family rules, etc. I've enjoyed all the mafia games, even mafia 3 was great albeit a bit bloated with missions.

It look fantastic from a design standpoint, but needs a shitload of work and some black magic to make it run at more than 15fps

The sad thing is that the company that made that shit was founded by Ragnar Tørnquist. He created The Longest Journey/Dreamfall series and had lead roles on Anarchy Online and Secret World while at Funcom, then licensed the TLJ IP from Funcom and started his own company to make the final game in the series (which unfortunately already started to show woke influences and this was before anyone had even heard the term SJW). I guess he's just a full-on cultist now. No idea why a bunch of Scandinavians feel the need to make a game inspired by Trump being elected when they have far more pressing problems of their own to address.
Dustborn probably wasn't that expensive though; the company gets a large majority of its funding from Norwegian Film Institute grants. I suppose that's also why they made TDS: The Game instead of, say, something about losing a country to an invading force of "refugees". Probably not a lot of woke grant money for real issues.
