The Honey Badger of Westeros.Bronn is pretty much the unspoken hero of kings landing. He's in it for the money and the bitches and he is a very honest sort of liar.
He also shows up as the Warden in the TV show.....Other than the fact that he appears several times and gurrm says everything but LOL HI IM VARYS! Shit, it might even say that at some point.
Shit, Astr0, that isn't even a fucking reveal. You might be the only book reader who didn't put it together.
That's a pretty good analogy really.Bronn is the boba fett of GoT.
Only in the sense that it is a very secondary character that is well liked and share a similar profession (both for hire, both implying adventures that happened outside the story), but Fett does and says nothing so he really is a blank canvas for the viewer to project their fantasies, while Bronn is a more fleshed out character with a broad range of interactions. That's a pretty good analogy really.

I hope no one is ever confirmed as Jaqen, because even if they are, he will be a completely different person by a different name. For all intents and purposes anyone then could just wink and be like HEY IM Jaqen.yeah I thought jaqen being the alchemist was all but confirmed. But the truth is that it doesn't matter if jaqen is the alchemist or if it's a different faceless man. In fact I almost hope that no other characters are revealed as being Jaqen ever even if there's circumstantial evidence that it is Jaqen. (Unless we get a short prologue/epilogue type story with an internal monolouge of jaqen thinking about arya and whatever shit she pulls in the last book. As long as it's kept internal it doesn't break the continuity of the faceless man's character).
I did not know that Varys was the jailer either, put me in the stupid group I guess. I thought that Varys was just using a disguise to avoid suspicion, not that he was actually the jailer. He also shows up as the Warden in the TV show.....
It's hinted in book one with Ned Stark with something like "he looks and sounds like Varys with stubble", but in later books both Jamie and Tyrion say pretty much say "wow Varys is also the jailer". Also Varys kills Kevan Lannister and is an Aegon Targaryen supporter.Other than the fact that he appears several times and gurrm says everything but LOL HI IM VARYS! Shit, it might even say that at some point.

Actually it's confirmed that the person who visits him is Varys. They have a conversation with each other. Or do you mean the jailor who was ignoring him and giving him water? It's hinted in book one with Ned Stark with something like "he looks and sounds like Varys with stubble", but in later books both Jamie and Tyrion say pretty much say "wow Varys is also the jailer". This is one of those plot points that is very, very obvious but also, if you just read the books, completely inconsequential. It really doesn't matter if Varys is playing the jailer or is the jailer. The only reason it was ever discussed is because it's a bit of a lynchpin in several other conspiracies, like Syrio=Jaquen!I did not know that Varys was the jailer either, put me in the stupid group I guess. Isn't that pretty much confirmed? iirc they were described identically, so either it's Jaqen, or someone else who's appearance Jaqen copied.jaqen new identity is the dude in oldown
Not 100% sure about how it worked, but the evidence seems pretty strong if that maester mage dude at the end of AFFC is to be believed.the maesters hate magic and want all dragons dead
Armed with this knowledge I am more convinced than ever that Syrio = Jaqen. This is one of those plot points that is very, very obvious but also, if you just read the books, completely inconsequential.
