Hint TJ: If you haven't read the books or know what's going on don't read this thread, hehe.

Now that you mention it that seems like a good possibility and would be an amazing departure from the books.Weelllllllll...Sandor apparently survived the Inn fight unscathed(the little lovetap on his back that folks thought would kill him has not), so maybe people are theorizing about how he's going to get dead now.
yep it's all perfect. Plus I always thought the way the hound bit it in the books was lame.Seems pretty obvious that this is what they are doing. They need to re-introduce the Mountain before he steps in to duel the Viper, and they have been foreshadowing a conflict between the Clegane boys with Arya/Hound dialogue pretty much this whole season. Tywin even said last episode that he will send word to the soldiers in the front lines (Mountain's crew) that the Hound needs to die asap.
They can accomplish the following:
1. Who is this Mountain guy again?
2. Oh, holy shit the Mountain really is a fucking bad ass.
3. The exit of the Hound from the story for now.
4. Maybe a redemption element to the conflict, where the Hound is mortally wounded in an attempt to save Arya.
I think all the confusion is stemming from the scene in the show where the old guy ( in the picture ) gives his testimony. He says about the necklace that there'sa gemmissing. He was answering someone who claimed only one was missing and the show fucked up.
Yeah Pycelle's only redeeming trait as a fictional character is that he's fucking with everyone all the time, and only the smart people know it.That old fuck is such a phoney anyway. I remember season 2 when Tyrion caught him walking normally after appearing as a cripple for everyone. It was around the time he was fucking some random castle wench, right before he was imprisoned.
Tyrian...Tyrian...Tyrian...Tyrian...Tyrian...
...
(I had to look up the spelling of his name)
Am I the only one who doesn't think we've seen the last of the Hound in the books? I don't remember his "death scene" all that clearly but was it nebulous enough to make it possible he didn't die?yep it's all perfect. Plus I always thought the way the hound bit it in the books was lame.
No, him being alive is one of the more solid theories, really.Am I the only one who doesn't think we've seen the last of the Hound in the books? I don't remember his "death scene" all that clearly but was it nebulous enough to make it possible he didn't die?
If you've seen the holy grail, they were comparing the dreadfort attack to the attack on the rabbit. More from the silliness than any direct connections. Which is fair, that scene was pretty terrible and made no sense.I read this yesterday and figured that was why people were all of the sudden comparing the Dreadfort scene to Monty Python (even though that obviously isn't the scene)
