AFfc was the most divisive of the books because it was split off from adwd since he was writing so fucking slow. To avoid that season 5 is gonna have to pull in some stuff from adwd to make up for not having Victarion in the show at all. They already set the groundwork for this last episode with Daario stealing 90 ships.

They'll prolly pull in some tyrion stuff...it's hard to imagine they could do a season without tyrion...and they'll definitely have to rope in some Jon/stannis/wall stuff from adwd too. Basically pretend AFfc got folded into adwd the way it was supposed to.

Yeah I thought it was known that the next two seasons would be a blending of Feast and Dance with whatever new show only, possible book spoilers thrown in to piss everyone off.

Bravos isnt hard to do. Re-dress some exteriors and use plenty of interior shots.

Most of Arya's book scenes were inside the temple and various taverns/markets (easy to do). Toss in a handful of exterior shots /w canals and voila.

They're already shooting in Andalusia,Spain for dorne, they can go a few blocks from the Alhambra and shoot braavosi scenes without much trouble.

i dunno, the temple seemed pretty elaborate, then we have her at her fish selling job by the docks where she learns infoz then later on she visits some other places. her training is my favorite parts of those 2 books and if they fuck that up, i really wont have anyone left to look forward to watching after this season.

They don't NEED to budget to build new sets... they're apparently shooting in Andalusia and around Seville. And since the first thing that comes to mind is the Alhambra, and since they ALREADY shoot in morocco for the mereen shit, I'm pretty sure they'll just be bribing Spanish officials to shoot in the palace and on the plaza de espana for the Braavosi canals.

EDIT: GRRM also admitted that Andalusia was the inspiration for Dorne anyway, specifically the Alhambra and its pools for sunspear.

Then they can go a few miles away to shoot the Braavosi exterior shots with the canals:

They can shoot the longer interior scenes in a set or stay in spain or whatever.

Guys Chuk is obviously right. They added Braavos to the opening credits flyover exclusively for that single episode where they shot scenes with Stannis, Davos, and Saan. They will clearly waste their braavos budget and sideline Arya's story so they can find the perfect river to film 19 episodes of Tyrion floating down it doing fuck all.

If I don't get to see Arya undertake magic ninja training I will be highly disappointed with the entire series.

The only thing that could make losing the Hound/Arya scenes palatable is turning her into Lara Croft.
