I feel they're giving him too much screen time not to at this point. If they go season-by-season as the origin of the villains he'd be the logical season 2 candidate.

I thought tonight's episode was alright. Lots of Bullock screentime. Good Penguin/Marone interactions. Nigma is really starting to grow on me as well.

that shit was easy to guess. black dude is her bf who thought she was kidnapped. the villain of the week is harvesting cortesol(sp), no doubt for his son who has some rare medical condition thats totally traceable through medical records. and wtf happened to marone's henchmen? did they all take the night off? no wonder he was so quick to be bamboozled.

I can only imagine it hurts your job prospects of getting transferred/hired if you're making out with a potential coworker in the middle of the office
I also had to laugh when all the cops just started gathering to watch Gordon making out with his woman. I don't know if it was intentionally cheesey and somewhat creepy but it was cheesey and creepy.

I hope the keep Edward as obsessive compulsive with his riddles, and games. and not a killer. Its always better to have some variance. having him just be obsessed with Batman and the police, and staging crimes to play games with them. Riddler kills someone then, hes no longer interesting as a sympathetic person with a real problem that puts him in Arkham. Hes just a killer.

Agreed. I'm just hoping they take their time setting up Riddler as a villain and don't rush into it before the end of the season. His storyline should be more of a slow burn with him beginning to realize how much smarter he is than everyone around him and seeing more and more what he can get away with. Part of Riddler's personality is a superiority complex that's driven by a boredom of him trying to find someone to match wits with. They've touched on that a little this week with him ousting the medical examiner, but I think they need to expand on that being the thing that makes him become a criminal rather than because he's picked on or because something happens to Miss Kringle. (Though, my guess is Miss Kringle gets taken, Nygma figures out where she is or who's responsible, but no one on the GCPD will take him seriously and she dies, leading to him having a vengeance against them.)
Finished Black Mirror. It was pretty good even if I don't fully understand the Batman stuff just before the reboot. With how much shit was going on and how complicated the story seemed to be I'm not shocked they decided to ditch that storyline and just start over.
I still think Hush is the best Batman I've read, though.

I laughed way too hard at the medical examiner setup, seeing all the arms fall out and the chief going "Hold, please tell me thats not what I think it is...", if nothing else that was a winner.

Cameron Monaghan is the kid they tapped to play The Joker and from what I can tell he has some talent from his work on Shameless and other roles.
They seemed to start the season with "yeah Jim Gordon and kid batman and lets have Catwoman be a street urchin and maybe we'll get to episode 10 before we get canned" and now they are putting some effort into the production and trying to get the casting right. Just having the scene this week with Penguin and Riddler meeting and sizing each other up was subtle yet quite cool. I also think they got damn lucky with Robin Lord Taylor as he has carried a large chunk of this show on his shoulders for the first half of the season.

Yeah, wow, every single scene with her was excruciating. And how do you end the previous episode with her leaping at some dude and not start the next with showing that again and what happened? Just proves that scene was entirely for (terrible) effect and had no real purpose.
God damn I hate her so much. She's single-handedly ruining the show for me. I look forward to MTV's Eye Candy more than this now, and that show doesn't have much going for it beyond Victoria Justice being hot.
Thank god they added Morena Baccarin as a regular, hopefully they keep barbara gone for a few years until they properly figure out how to make her character interesting, not the weeping moping drinking barbara. What the hell are they doing with Fish, giving her an underground gang now? There's more than enough batman villains to go around they don't need to keep writing her character in, just kill her off already, jada pinkett "star power lol" really adds nothing to the show.

its like there are 2 factions of this show, the people who are keeping the fish flags flying and the rest who have moved on. they have made Penguin the owner of his own club erasing everything fish had, he has a new enemy in don marone. this is the way it was intended. but then we have the other faction who just wont let fucking go. now we need to see how fish is a real badass we should care about. guys i dont fucking care about her. i never did. she is terrible. making her the boss of some pirate prison wont change that. they had no problem chucking barbara off this show and she is a comic book character, why they keep this bitch who is not part of the DCU i have no idea.
