I would suggest you read this article on what exactly correlation means.

Correlation does not imply causation.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Correla...mply_causation
How about you print that wiki page off, wad the paper up, and then shove it right up your own ass, you arrogant motherfucker? I know what correlation means. What is wrong with you?

You also seem to be referring to some generic concept of "Gun Control" like the grass is always greener kind of mentality. You have no ideas or opinions for what we should do but you are certain other countries are doing it better because they have lessReportedgun deaths.

If you have an actual thought on how gun control should be implemented in America that would be interesting to hear. All you seem to be saying at the moment is "WE NEED GUN CONTROL" in the same way a fox news retard parrots the talking points they hear all day on TV. You also seem to be convinced that other countries are doing it right but you fail to realize all those other countries have varied gun policies that aren't carbon copies of each other.

So if you want to have an actual discussion and point to actual policies that might work for America lets debate this. If you just want to keep parroting the generic gun control message you hear on the news though there really is no point responding to you. You obviously aren't capable of putting forward any sort of meaningful argument or independent thought.
I don't even know where to begin with this shit. What is wrong with you, dude? Can you do me a favor and go back and read my posts? It's like you've accidentally quoted me when you meant to respond to someone else. I've never said "WE NEED GUN CONTROL." I simply have opinions about what does and doesn't work if the goal is to reduce gun-related violence in the US. And unlike literally the rest of the fuckin' thread, I've actually provided statistical evidence to support my position.

I've intentionally attempted to ignore weighing in on whether or not the US should implement more gun control policies, because that's simply a matter of opinion. This is evident by the fact that I've said multiple times that if you think the 2nd amendment is worth the price we pay in increased gun violence, that's a totally legitimate opinion. Whatisn'ta matter of opinion, is what works and what doesn't work in regards to reducing gun violence. And that's what my posts have been about. Banning assault weapons, arming school teachers, regulating violent media, implementing gun free zones, and/or placing armed guards in schools is not going to solve America's problem with gun violence.

And? How many people have been killed by people speeding or doing something stupid with a car since?
Both are unintentional reckless actions that can cause death to a third party. Pointing a gun at somebody, then shooting them is not unintentional.

NRA: The real monsters are the mentally ill.
It saddens me to see people use the term mentally ill as an escape goat for gun killings.

There are many people with mental disabilities. These can include Down's Syndrome, autism (not including assburgers), or general retardation from many outside factors. These individual have difficulties in reasoning, judgement, and control of their impulses. You don't see people selling them guns because we know they might have a lapse in reasoning and could harm somebody or themselves.

The people who commit most of these murders aren't mentally retarded. You can't ever screen for these people because they aren't sick. They are depressed, they hate life, and they believe it's the people around them that causes them to feel like this. Removing the ability to easily obtain a dangerous collection of automatic weapons can help protect the populace when these people finally break down.

All these mass killings were from perfectly normal people who had people or situations that caused them so much stress that they finally broke down and enacted revenge. How many more public killings would there be if all those teens and young adults who want to punish people because of their inability to communicate their emotions properly to people who can help them?

TL;DR
You can't screen people for mental illness that was caused from an environmental stressor. Hind sight will always be 20-20.

Yeah escape goat is pretty epic and is a great example of why Excidium is such a terrible poster.
Need to be an internet bully to make yourself feel better because you waste most of your life on a message board insulting people not for opinions but for their spelling. Need me to grammatically repair every post I make?

Attack me for my views, not on my typing and stop being prick. Your comment comment is off topic and a personal attack, that is what makes bad posting shithead.

Has the NRA gone insane? Waxing nostalgic about being able to bring your shotgun on a plane?
I'm fine with the NRA members being allowed to carry guns on a plane if every black and arab man can carry one on too. Don't see them allowing "terruists" getting their hands on some guns on a plane. I feel bad for all the arab and brown people of the US getting instantly stereotyped into violent terrorists. Hell, look at the Sikh temple slaying, they aren't even muslim thats how ill informed your redneck trash.

You're positive about that tad10? That if one of the male members had a gun and not the female that everything would have gone alright? Don't statistics show that homes that have guns are 4.5 times more likely to have a gun homicide or suicide occur than those without?
You realize that what you just said was fucking retarded, right?
Don't statistics state that you are 4.5 times more likely to see blood and bone if you are inside of a hospital?

Congratulations on failing at life. Mental illness from an environmental stressor? Where is your Nobel prize acknowledging your discovery that all psychopaths are made and not born? Perfectly normal person? Get fucked, you idiot. Escape goat? Wow. We should have an IQ test to post here because some are you are borderline low intellectual functioning.
