damn bro that fucking sucks.

I came in here to post my story which was scary as fuck when it happened, I almost died, but shit at least I know what happened. That's gotta be pure hell not knowing.

for my shit, at least i'm 90% sure on my diagnosis, actually 100% on diagnosis, 90% on the root cause just awaiting one more procedure to confirm and a few more tests to determine the extent of the damage.

Yes the not knowing 10000% sucks. For about a month I had no idea of the type/stage of my brain tumor so I'm like:

DO I say fuck it, take all the money out of the bank and YOLO cuz I only have a few days/weeks/months to live or

do I stay the course cuz I have to pay for all the medical costs because it's a type where I can keep going on.

Turned out it was the 'good' kind of brain tumor but I would not recommend this shit for anyone. I never did get a straight answer on what caused it other than 'environmental factors' but I did find out it's the kind that can come back at any time for any reason. Feb is MRI #wtfever

But not knowing and feeling like shit , yeah it hurts ME to read it. When I 'thoughts and prayers' your posts Borzak Borzak , bro, I 100% mean it!

Not sure which threads where it was discussed more, but guess I can can try to just tag Synj Synj Obviously I can't use search. Maybe I should just go hit the BB folks.

Got a yearly lab draw, had them do T as well. Looks like my kidneys might be start to be going borderline, and I'm according to this getting towards the edge on my glucose. As a kid was tested and concerned about renal reflux so not sure if that all ties into issues there.

But the question was opinion on T tested at 392. Google is giving me like 300-1000. I'm not really gung ho on the thought of maybe wanting to get on T and ideally more like low amounts over a year or two and try to cycle off.
39 6'1 ~205lbs, have gotten basically "farm fit" in that my arms have bulked a bit, my cardio is still trash and I've struggled with even at 18 in basic. 2019 Echo said I have a slight... wasn't a murmur, but something a little fucky w/ my heart, and circumstances at the time I didn't pursue it into trying to do stress tests etc and I'm just pretty tired much of the time, ideally best with like 9 hours of sleep. For as much weight and things I do and move around kinda feel like I ought to have had a little more in gains by now.

I'm rural and I dont really have a lot of faith in the doctors out here, most are visibily hey lets get you on every diet pill injection, etc they can. Mine gave me no balk as a new patient requesting give me my sumatriptin RX for my migrains when I moved here. So If I hint at it might be something I want to do, I don't think they would give me quality push back on pro/cons/ and maybe a good idea or not in my circumstance.

I'm big on T.

It regulates so many aspects of your overall health including glucose regulation, mental health and things like motivation.

If you're struggling with your sugars > central obesity > kidney dysfunction, T can help get you motivated to start working out a bit, lose some weight, build muscle and get your sugars under control.

Even though it's within the normal limits, that's the normal of middle aged and older men that are starting to crash so who gives a shit. It will only get worse from here, and if you don't like the idea of being on T for the rest of your life, you have a choice: get on T or just keep getting worse over time.

I recall you had at one point a breakdown though of the different modalities, not covered on insurance of course, I forget what the somewhat cheap option was. 2% raises for the last and next few years, I'm not at a point where I can throw an extra $500 a month at it. Some of my concern w/ tapering off was even things like fear it somehow became banned, or yknow WW3 kinda blows up supply or something.

tl:dr question - anyone know, if the swelling of a sebaceous cyst goes down, will a dermatologist still excise it?

30+ years ago had sebaceous cyst on my back. went to doctor, he drained it. it healed to just a small dot and forgot about it. around last sunday, it started swelling and by thursday it was red and sore. called pcp, they put orders in to go see dermatology. while waiting, checked the local derm's website, no opening till 2-14. there are a couple more about an hour away, but don't know if my pcp uses them. last night it was really hurting, took some tylenol, put ice on it. while not much bigger, the area of redness had doubled, like bigger than a 50 cent piece. took a shower and afterwards just touched it and the stuff started coming out it, so while read not supposed to, just squeezed till all the nasty stopped. now it is still sore, the area of redness is a lot smaller and is mostly flat. understand it could be infected and swell up again, but don't know if should press to see a dermatologist quicker or what now.

A dermatologist will remove whatever you want, within reason. If you have an abcessed cyst you should probably get seen ASAP for antibiotics at least.
