That's crazy. I wonder if something is going on, I just played an arena against a Warlock who played 6 Blood Imps on me in the late game.

RNG on draft that's all really. There was a reddit post with a guy who drafted 10 arcane missiles just for fun.
Today has been terrible for arena, think my top result has been 6/3 and I actually went 1/3 on a paladin. Some of the decks didn't have the strong cards but all of them had good curves and still decent cards, but I've been playing people with some really fucking retarded shit.

Yeah well basically my last 3 paladin drafts, I haven't gotten a single truesilver, blessing of kings or guardian of kings. I did get 3, 2 then 3 consecrations again, but that tends to be the only paladin common I get other than a fucking unnatural number of secrets, and especially fucking eye for an eye. On the 1/3 run, I had an equality so it worked alright with the consecrations, but I had no lategame(just an ogre then some 5drops like tiger and shit but nothing higher), almost no class buffs(no BoK as mentionned, no BoM either, one hand of protection but no argent protector) and no weapons. It sucks because most of these cards are commons, but I didn't see a single one. I don't complain about a lack of Lay on Hands because obviously it's epic I'm not gonna get one often, but I'd expect to get some commons and I don't get shit, so I make a mostly neutral deck but that's fairly weak overall cause class cards are stronger than neutral cards almost all the time besides a few neutrals and if I don't get those either well it's gonna be shit.
Just a bad day, terrible luck all day on drafts, always some weak point in the decks.

I have an active Arena with 3 Truesilvers right now. 7-1, but the deck is janky as fuck. 3 Truesilver, 3 Blessing of Kings, 2 Sunwalker, 1 Sylvanas, but the rest is pretty much terrible cards on a bad curve. It was the weirdest draft. Half the games I just have a random 2 drop and a 1/1 on turn 4, and from there on out drop 2x Truesilvers and a BoK and ride a 5/5 peasant to victory while the Truesilvers kill everything he has.
The deck will get wrecked when I run into someone with an actual good draft, though.
I'm scared to think how good this deck would be if I actually had a solid 2-3CC core.
And rank 4, 2 stars. So far I've been stopping when I can no longer make gold from the wins. Which happens a lot faster with an agro deck, short games are making me really happy after basically 80% of my games ran to fatigue on Priest and Druid.

I think they're saying early in the new year for open beta. But I also read that anyone who opted into the beta prior to Monday the 16th should have received an invite (check spam folders).
Playing around with a Hunter deck I saw a rank 5 guy playing (though I only saw him play it, didn't see the list). Basically Leper Gnomes, Bow, Secrets, Secret Keeper, and you just go for the face with your bow while playing delay (because every time a secret gets revealed you get another durability). It seems OK and he went on a streak with it vs Warlock at rank 5, which is pretty good. He played Mana Wraiths even, to delay.

I could see how that'd work ok against warlock since explosive trap/snipe/snake traps/misdirection would slow the rush a lot and hero power+attack to the face does add up pretty quickly. Not sure it'd work out at all against paladin/druid decks though, but with mages mostly dead seems everyone's running aggro lock again.
Since the Mage nerfs about 75% of my games have been against Warlocks. Guessing the meta is back to extreme aggro decks now since Mages are out. Time to get out the Leper Gnomes and Southsea Deckhands. Maybe I should craft a Tirion Fordring but any sensible deck these days will be running silence rendering him useless.

Has anyone tried to run the Frozen Giants deck after the nerfs? With the meta swinging back hard to aggro, its old counters should be mostly gone. Sure, it will be slower and more vulnerable, but a favorable meta may still allow it to work. It may need a slight rework to survive the extra turn before it can chain freeze, and maybe even run Sorcerer's Apprentice to allow for more casts per turn.

Does Spell Damage increase the damage of Healing spells if you have an Auchenai Shadowpriest out? (i.e. will Circle of Healing do 5 damage with a Geomancer out?) And also does Shadowpriest affect things like Witch Doctor or Earthseer? I know it says "cards", but this is Hearthstone after all. Trying something new. And what if I Holy Fire while I have a Shadowpriest out, will it hit me for 5? Same with Holy Nova?

Finally got my first Legendary(s) yesterday. Finished an arena run, only a 4win run, opened pack and got 2 Legendaries. (Not counting the guy you get after making a store purchase). Not the best Legendary cards though: Onyxia and Gruul.
I play this game super casually. Usually I just do the quests and then run an Arena whenever I have enough gold. I've been staying away from ranked since I *had* no Legendaries. Even when I have an Arena run going, I usually take 2-3 days to complete the run lol. I did buy $20 worth of packs once. Probably took me 30+ packs before finally getting a Legendary.
Does anyone know if there will be a complete card wipe after all the betas? I'm assuming yes, which is one reason I haven't been playing the game as much. I normally just squeeze in games during LoL queues. If card collections were kept after Beta I can see maybe playing more hardcore but I also imagine many players with 100% cards would like the challenge of collecting them all again. Considering players have been spending money, though, it seems like the diehards will be immediately opening 100s/1000s of packs once the game goes live and will have all the cards anyway.
Any idea?
