Also when I get bored I play that OTK Warrior deck and I have a 100% win rate with it so far, which is ridiculous.
Have you made any changes to it? I figured the higher removal like Arcanite Reaper wasn't useful because you need stuff with HP to be alive when you decide to kill, so small removal, lots of card draw and things to stall with, like high HP taunters might work better. This is what I thought of:Deck Builder - Hearthstone

Could you link what you've been working with? I pretty much live vicariously through high-end streamers because I don't have time to play myself.

What do you guys think of this idea?:
(If at any point you ask yourself, "is he high?", the answer is yes.

I know Blizzard likes to do Halloween or Christmas events in their games. What if they had opponents like in the tutorial that were only limited time bosses (you play a best out of three tournament) of substantial difficulty.

Its Halloween so when you click "Play Ranked" you encounter Kel'thuzad and not another player. Kel'thuzad wipes the floor with you, but you discover the meta and weakness of his deck and know for the next random encounter. If you don't plan around the deck, you could miss your opportunity to defeat Kel'Thuzad and not obtain the limited edition gold Naxxramas booster pack (1 per successful kill).

I like this idea because it forces the players at large to shift the meta for a time being...it also allows others to forego their opportunity at these packs to defeat those trying to defeat Kel'Thuzad.

Thoughts?

OTK - Deck Guide - Hearthstone

I added an Inner Rage in place of one Far Seer. Basically it allows for 2 more damage, which nicely deals with Druids and Warriors who armored up. I also tried a variant that had both the Molten Giants Charge combo and the Alex+Charge+Gorehowl Combo in it. I've been in some pretty funny situations with it. I had to go to the face with an Upgraded Gorehowl vs a Rag (killing Rag on a personal level is very satisfying). The deck has a lot of staying power vs slow Druids, to. Alex was literally the last card in my deck at one point and it was fine. I did finally take a loss to a Murloc Warlock. I'd add a Whirlwind, but I'd need to get it on the turn before the buff the health and/or combo it with Thalnos. Since that isn't likely, probably just write it off as a counter and not fuss. Though, because of lifetap, the deck that combos in giants wins pretty often vs Warlocks.

Mages were already losing to heal decks. People play what they are told is OP. Plus I imagine a lot of people leveled their Mage to 60 and changed classes just because of that, whether they wanted to keep playing it or not.

The Mage nerf brought back Warlock agro something fierce though. So now there are a lot of mid-range Paladin aggression decks running around (Ardent/Squire/Sword of Justice/Knife Juggler/Abom/Consecrate/etc).

Also does anyone else hate going first? I always want the coin. Whether to power a Pyro for free, or to make my curve smoother with the drops I got (like if I have a 1 and a 3, I can turn 1 play the 1 drop, turn 2 play the 3 drop, whereas normally I'd just be fucked turn 2). Powering Rogue combos, Mana Wyrms, just everything, I'd rather have the coin.
The coin is just more fun.

If you want aoe in a warrior deck I think Pyromancer is a lot better than Whirlwind, mostly because you can get the 1damage to all then still have a 3/1 on the board and assuming it survives another 1dmg aoe later on, or you can drop it with 2 cheap spells(especially 0cost spells that warriors tend to have) when you really need to clear shit. Overall really like Pyromancer if you deck has a decent amount of 0-2spells like rogues, warriors, priests, mages etc. For mages though you generally don't really need to aoe as much since you get a bunch of class ones, but rogues have similar issues as warriors and doing pyromancer > backstab or later in the game pyromancer > fan of knives is pretty nice.

I was looking at those Lock decks people posted earlier, and there is so many hard counters to that rush its not funny.

Have no idea how people get legendary off of that other then they are doing massive que dodging.

There was a hard counter, Frozen Giant Mage. Now that those cards have all been nerfed, what are you playing to take advantage of the Lock decks?

Now im basing this off the constructed rush decks they posted a few pages back
Any shaman can take out that deck, any Paly running sword, anti lock druid decks. I even think a Rogue combo deck could beat them if played correctly.

Reason why Mages were so powerful is because very few classes could take them out no matter what they did, and even the ones that could take them out ran the risk of being RNGed.

That's way to many classes that can knock out that particular deck imho.

Honestly if you want to farm locks right now, just run a paly with sword and it's easy pickens.

This was your assertion: "Have no idea how people get legendary off of that other then they are doing massive que dodging."

Who needs to be educated?

let me educate you my low ranked friend,we will go step by step cause I know you are slow.

And this not an assertion I've tested this deck, to form its counter since everyone is running this meta right now. It is much better to run a counter to a meta unless the meta has almost no counter like pre nerf mage/rogue/druid

2 soulfire
1 power overwhelming
1 abusive sergeant
2 argent squire
2 blood imp
2 flame imp
2 voidwalker
2 faerie dragons
2 knife jugglers
2 novice engineers
2 harvest golems
2 ssc
2 did
2 doa
1 leeroy
1 doomguard

That deck is 100% rush, it is built to win quickly. It has very little taunt support, and very little removal.Any time the lock with that deck has to stop and clear threats on the board, as well as clear taunts they are losing.

That lock deck needs to get the other player down to 10, and have Leeroy in hand as well as another combo card such as overhwelming/soulfire.
If the lock is constantly having to stop his rush not only is he losing the meta, but he is also at a threat to get rushed down himself.

If a player plays a paladin running swords,The lock will not survive into the late game.

And i'd like to wager over 75% of shaman decks will crush it, based off there ability to constantly put threats on the board for a low cost that the lock must deal with,as well as allot of removal..

That above lock has more then one class that can beat them, including other locks with the same deck which are everywhere.
The point of an OP meta is too lessen your chances of running into a counter.

Sometimes speed just wins. No deck is unbeatable, but acting like it is horrible because there exists a counter is just stupidity.

You are neglecting to see the point.

Speed decks are fine if there win rates are constantly higher then there losses.

Pre nerf Mages were a speed class. They had almost no counters hence there win rates were always much higher then there losses.

If the current metas deck has multiple counters including its mirror then it is no longer a strong deck.

Nobody said it was horrible, but the fact people assume that Locks are in total control is lunacy.
If you look at the current meta playing right now the players are starting to run anti lock decks.

When the Lock meta dies becauses the losses are unnaceptable now, then you will see why the Lock deck isnt even close to pre nerf mage/rogue/druid.

This was your assertion: "Have no idea how people get legendary off of that other then they are doing massive que dodging."
My sarcasm is lost on the retarded...

It's pretty easy to figure out he played the meta right after the mage nerf when people did not readily run Lock counter decks.

My que dodge comment is a joke based off what you would have to play today to get those same results.

Arena is starting to piss me off very badly lately. I keep running into absolutely ridiculous decks and/or openings while having jack shit myself.

I know I'm generally mediocre to bad at this game but I have no idea how people consistently do so well in arena. I run into people with fucking legendaries when my draft was a big fucking shitpile of bad luck and I'm ready to retire after one game.

I just got in and I suck but here's my experience.

I never have the cards I need at the time I need them to counter my opponent, but my opponent always seems to have what he needs to counter me. I lose.
