They need to make a Big Bang Theory ep out of this thread.
The amount of nerdrage is just priceless.

I really can't wait for the How It Should Have Ended for this movie.
Superman is taken by zod. Asks for the codex to restore his race, superman tells him where the ship is. They don't find it, check the blood and find it. Zod extracts the codex from the blood asks Clark if he wants to join them on a new krypton. Clark politely refuses, Zod and crew leave to terraform mars.
The end.

I hope he doesn't cop out with a "This is Sparta!" kick to send Zod into the slowly collapsing phantom zone singularity right before it closes.

Overall I did enjoy the movie, but if I am gonna be super critical then here goes ....

1. I did not like the remake/rewrite of Lois Lane. I did not care for the Lois "GI Jane" Lane, they made her out to be a roprter for Vice, not the Daily Planet. I prefer my Lois a lil more vulnerable. I also prefer Lois to be in the dark regarding Superman's identity as Clark.

2. Where the fuck was Jimmy Olsen?

3. The flying creature Jor-El road on Krypton screamed merchandising to me.

4. The brawling between Superman and the Zod and company was just boring because you are lead to believe they are all indestructible, then Superman breaks his neck ...WTF?

5. Not enough Non ... I think that is his name, the big dude that rolls with Zod, I didn't like that he was faceless and had no lines or grunts to speak of.

6. The stupid line at the end where the Captain says to the General "he is kinda hot"

7. Superman was borderline uncoordinated, I guess it is a coming of age story and he lis learning his powers etc, but I like my Superman a lil more confident and in control.

8. Lois lane as the Flash, how the fuck did she get from the street into the train station that fast? It looked as though it was miles away but the movie treated it like she was intone parking lot.

I know I am being overly critical but just speaking my mind, I did like the movie.

#4 doesn't have a lot of traction imo. I mean a me vs a tank, I can go put and punch it and I can't do anything to it but if you hit it with something of equal power to it then it's goign to do a lot of damage to it.

Same goes for Superman and Zod. I'm sure the fact that he put about 4billion pounds of pressure into that neck snap was enough to do it.

I did find Lois Lane's ability to bend time and space pretty unnerving.

My wife said her ovaries exploded when she saw him. I'm pretty sure that line was in there strictly for the ladies and everyone I know loved it.

yeah, figured it was for the ladies. thought it was lame...a line sort of inserted there to justify her presence when it wasn't needed. i just cringed.

Prometheus scored higher on meta than this POS.
I think trying to summon Araysar to the thread is the sign of a desperate troll. Anyways Prometheus had a 6.5 user score and Man of Steel had a 8.2. Need I remind you how useless critics arehttp://www.metacritic.com/game/pc/simcityorhttp://www.metacritic.com/movie/the-...pected-journey? Granted there were issues with the hobbit but critics shat over that for the 48fps thing far far more then the movie itself. Same with the OMG ITS NOT SUPERMAN KING OF THE EARTH errrrrr wait!

Ok the line was for the ladies, I get it. I have issue with who said it ... a Captain in the Military to a General??? It just felt shoe-horned in where there were plenty of other opportunities to add that line.

there are a lot of lines and script that were shoehorned into the movie (Lois/Superman in ruin, bunch of people that were fleeing buildings and people we don't give a shit about faces imminent danger, iHop). That line is probably the last of our problem. Just a cringe.

Speaking of IHop, I was kinda hoping that Pete kids middle name was Lex. I was hoping he would grow up to be a super villain, not work at IHop. Also, did you guys notice the trucks in the street with Lex Corp Labels? Pretty confident Lex will be in the sequel.

I did also want to mention I thought Cavill was a pretty good Superman, I like that he hit the gym hard and bulked up for the role. I liked him from the Tudors.

Any time someone says they don't like this movie, they are called a troll.

I liked Prometheus more than this, as the plot was 10x better. For this movie, Snyder decided to make the Man of Steel more like a rampaging Hulk.

I feel like I'm on Bizarro World right now, with all of these nerds claiming they liked the movie.
This man enjoys interpretive dance, and hates steak.
