The above is mostly correct, there's always joint or sole legal custody regardless of the state involved. Physical is another matter....though the definition is pretty loose that's why.
Like in Minnesota, there's no join physical per say. Like mentioned above whom ever had the child the most is the parent that gets the child support. You technically have joint physical but majority physical is one or the other parent who collects money.
And correct, there's no such thing as being reimbursed for child support if it comes to you having majority physical throughout the year.
