Here's a short summary of how fucked up she is..
She was a raging alcoholic. It went from funny ("haha mom fell down") to unfunny - walking in the street hammered, having seizures, multiple suicide attempts. It was during these suicide attempts we found out she was also abusing drugs. The stuff we found was some obscure shit - Floricet, some headache drug, some pain meds, weird stuff we never heard of. It was hidden all over the house, in her closet, in shoes, behind the toilet, etc. We even found a jug of wine hidden behind some clothes. It was serious shit.
She was doctor shopping for meds too, as we found a ton of the same prescription from multiple doctors. When that ran out she was buying meds online from Canada or Mexico, I can't remember which. She racked up over $20,000 hidden credit card debt doing this. She was spending $500-1000/week on these meds. They would get shipped to a local fedex facility and she would secretly pick them up so no one knew. When she got caught she attempted suicide again.
I was the one that caught her when I had to fix her computer for something. I was looking at her history because something was wrong with her internet and noticed her going to fedex.com like 10 times a day. She had auto-login on and I saw all the stuff being shipped to her so I brought it up to my stepdad.
She's better now I think, but there are many times where I think she's still loaded on drugs.
