It's gotten better than the days where those BC implants had a decent chance of making you want to kill yourself, but yeah. Birth control does shit to the brain.

"Guys guys... I've read about marriage before, so you should totally take my advice"
Sounding like a donkey, there, caddy. This was a gamer forum. Not everyone is pro league players with sponser. Got to be advice for the casuals too.

My wife said her lack of sex drive may be her birth control.

What are the odds she's plotting baby crazy long cons. Turning 30 in a month, coincidence? Who can I trust? Where can i find enough au pairs to watch a baby full time?

I'm reeling.

My wife dropped hormonal birth control about a half year ago and it's been much better since. Fewer headaches and an increased sex drive. Now, of course some of that might be placebo. Also, no one does something like drop birth control in a vacuum. That's a huge change and people's behavior, even subconsciously, will change.

It's at the very least worth discussing. Just tell her you'll stick it in her butt instead.

Until it fuses to her cervix and she almost dies (this happened to 3 different women I know).

Oh I'm sorry am I not supposed to talk about that? I don't know about IUD's because I'm not married.

Real talk, hormone based birth control does completely drive women batshit. When my wife took it she was off the chain. You might try one of the non-hormonal birth controls and see if that works for you.

This is completely and totally factually correct.

Women don't realize that it's doing it to them until they come off of it either. It doesn't fuck with their brain parts, it fucks with their butt-brain parts. Everything seems normal. And if you think about it, if they've been on hormone BC since they were teens... everything IS normal. But they'll feel very subtly differently off of it and act differently based on that.

Some women it actually calms.

I don't believe this.

A bit late with a sex turned down story, but one time when I was visiting an ex I was woken up to him grinding the hell out of my ass. So I'm thinking, "sure, let's do it," I turn around to go grab his dick and get to work and what does he do? Rolls back over and starts snoring. I got sleep-humped. Was disappointing and funny at the same time, I thought. I gave him a little teasing the next day.

Wow...busy thread today.

Picasso. ..the post that jumped out at me was you sharing that your wife would say "Ow" then "no"...ow? If sex is hurting and it hasn't previously, perhaps that should be medically investigated.
