Ok first. Cymbalta could very well kill her sex drive.

Second. WHAT THE FUCK. A GP should never diagnose fibro. Fibro is a diagnoses when you've exhausted every specialist in the realm that the issue could be in.

Your #1 priority should be to coerce/help her see a specialist. That is fucking unacceptable a GP would make that call. There's ways that you can maybe coerce her to see one that are better than just straight up saying something like "your gp is a retard," etc. I know this is dumb but you'll need to play some chess here with words and actions. Try to show her through your words and actions that you want her to see a specialist because you're worried about her, really love her and it would really put your mind at ease if you had more clarification.

Gotta play word gymnastics here. If all that doesn't work I'd start to wonder if she doesn't want to get better which is a whole nother bridge to cross and discuss when you cross it.

While it's true we only have one side of the story(as is always the case in this thread), if she was being serious, then I stand by my position. If she was being sarcastic and TJT wasn't picking up on it, then maybe you have a point. If you ain't paying bills and ain't raising kids, you really have no room to whine about the breadmaker taking some time off and enjoying themselves.

It isn't that big a deal man. Just something dumb she said without thinking. I believe it has to do with her being raised outside the USA. She has a good job too and everything but like I said. She is prone to stress and just wants a break from her own job (works for Yeti right now and doesn't like it).

In other news, my wife says I "bullied" her into going to the doctor for a second opinion. When I asked how that is even possible, you're an adult, she said "You don't get to decide how your actions are interpreted by others".

I fucking hate our current culture and how much it encourages people to act like complete pussies.

yes, but we never had assets by ourselves since we got together as teenagers. I could see a guy in his 30-40's on a second marriage or late to marry wanting to keep some of their assets seperate
