This shit spread like wildfire. Totally went viral. they were discussing this spreadsheet on morning radio here around Detroit.

Text/email/note seems like it would be such a bad way to initiate a serious conversation. But everyone is different and if it works it works.

But this seems a lot more like a parting shot. In what world do you send your wife something like this and don't expect to be divorced before the year is out. The story goes that this is day one of a ten day business trip. That is one of the more passive aggressive ways to call your wife a bitch that I think I've seen recently.

I'm assuming in this silly hypothetical, the wife is telling the husband he's being ridiculous.

Keep in mind that I'm leaning toward the wife in this specific discussion because Beagle led off with "their husbands need sex on the reg". You're not going to have an open discussion if you start off with the expectation of sex.
I think what he was saying is that a woman should be pretty familiar with her husbands sex drive well before marrying him as well as respect the fact that sex is pretty damned important to a man. Respect is usually the bigger issue anyway. She knows he wants to have sex yet going off her excuses, she doesn't seem to respect his desire very much at all. Do you think this whole scenario may have been different if she just said "I know you want to, I'm really sorry I'm just not in the mood right now, but I will make it up this weekend." I don't know any man who would not be satisfied with this answer. Even if it was Monday. Hell anticipation would probably make it even funner.

Hahahah I almost started doing something like that with my ex wife only keeping track of a different thing. Every time we fought she would always turn the argument into how I never did anything nice for her. I almost wanted to keep documentation of every thing I did for her so I could shut down her bullshit redirection tactic.

Jesus, if you take the "husband needs sex on the reg" comment as sexist you're an idiot. I don't know what kind of relationships you have been in, but if a couple in their twenties, without children are only having sex 3 times in 7 weeks, then there is a large problem. And that problem isn't simply that the husband isn't properly wooing his wife. That was my point. You could just as easily insert "the wife needs sex on the reg to maintain a healthy relationship" because sex is an important part of any healthy relationship between consenting adults. Would that be a sexist comment as well or is it only sexist when it applies to men wanting sex?

JTheRule: And maybe she really hates it when he tries to fuck her in the middle of a show/movie or when she comes home from the gym. Maybe she has a body odor phobia that's just as important to her as her husband's sex drive is to himself. Maybe he's a clueless moron when it comes to initiating sex.

Beagle: Yes, attributing a stereotype to a gender is the definition of sexism. As you correctly stated after a couple bumbling attempts, sex is important for the relationship. Not because the guy "needs" it. You don't think women "need" it just as much? Should I remind you that Tenks pretty much read your post the same way?

Maybe. Maybe she's fucking the entire neighborhood and she's worn out whenever he initiate. Maybe there is no he and it's just a crazy person who made a spreadsheet and posted it on Reddit. Maybe one day Mippo will come back.

Maybe.

All possible! But, let's not try to bias the conversation prematurely, though, by saying sex is somehow more important to men, or even more ludicrously, a need. It makes it hard to have a rational conversation about spreadsheets.

Not you specifically, Soy.
