I want to be with her, but I can't be a different person. 2 months ago, on my nieces birthday she told me, "if u go I divorce you". She said because my mom has butted in once again in our business. This really hurt me, I wanted to her 5th bday, I only been to one bday before, yeah that is how bad the dynamics is. So that was her latest ultimatum, I didn't go because she is pregnant, and I didn't want her to lose her head.
She also fears that I somehow will take over my brothers responsibilities as a father. Her biggest complain is that I don't have her back, that she feels she is without a partner, she is also incapable of forgiving, so must of the ti, es our arguments are over stuff that happened long in the past.

She is a doctor. She hasn't matched yet. She failed her first cs attempt, passed it on a second. That pretty much has destroyed her professional life, this is the third time we'll try to match a position.
Not been a practicing doctor has changed her been. She is a bitter person, has a very short fuse. She will avoid interacting with other doctor friends, because of not matching. Some times is like she gets out at me emotionally to feel better about other stuff, that may not be truth but is what I feel. It is the biggest issue in our marriage, for the longest she gets depressed because she can't find a job.
A lot of Mondays I will get home from work, and she'll be at home depressed, and I will tell her "bad Monday right".. She will just say yeah..

She failed the clinical portion of the USMLE which is required to "finish" medical school, it's like the exit exam/board certification to go into residency. Since she has a failure on there now, she's only going to get super shitty residencies.

Failed her clinical skills test? Passed it on second try. Destroyed her professional life. Now she had to take it again for a new potential position? That last part doesn't make sense to me, once you pass you shouldn't need to take it again. Unless maybe the people thinking about hiring her want to test her.

Boundary issues yes, master, I feel like my wife is a freak control. Because of the pregnancy we are only having sex once or twice a week. On the mean time I just jerk off, she takes offense to that. Medicare funds most residencies and due to budget cuts and general stagnation there's only enough residencies for about 60% of med school graduates.
I don't know everything about her situation so I can't say for sure but I'm fairly certain at this point that she will never get a residency or be a doctor. If you fail to match twice you're not going to get matched. Hope your name isn't on those med school loans!
