A good life is a pretty subjective term depending on who you're talking to. What do you consider a good life?"The" good life doesn't always equal "A" good life.

I knew being a healer would pay offIt's different for everyone. Personally, I would find a life dedicated to my own comfort unsatisfying. I think that satisfaction comes from sacrificing for someone or something you care about more than yourself. Having kids isn't the only way to do that, but it's the most popular.
I don't think that's a very unpopular opinion, I think as a general rule people usually get more satisfaction from helping others rather than helping themselves. It's different for everyone. I wish I could not play a healer in an MMO, just once.I knew being a healer would pay off
But I'm a real boyTanks are the popular kids
Healers are the hot chicks who hang out with tanks
DPS is everyone else
I wish I were a physical hot chick. I'd be streaming on twitch all day errr day. You're a metaphorical hot chick
I would agree with that, plus the cross gender situation there. Most men are not seeking to emulate their mothers, for one example, while women generally are getting their home making traits from their mothers. The amount of antipathy men and women feel towards the mother in law seems to be pretty even, though, for sure.I think you're using a stereotype common to many people and are only cognizant of its presence in women. I'd argue that men are more likely to keep their association with their mothers in a negative way than women. Or maybe it's just more noticeable to me because men being mommy's boys is a problem for a lot of women, where as women 'hiding under their mom's skirts' I think is more acceptable to men, because we don't view it as direct competition.
I don't think so -- at least complex pulling mechanics are gone in WoW. They somewhat existed in Molten Core but even then it was more like make sure not to pull the pat with the pack. I don't think WoW or any other MMO allows you to split packs with FD or anything.I pull because I can't sit still. And also, I love training people to death.
Is pulling/training still a thing in post-EQ MMOs? I think I'm obsolete.
There were bugs in WoW in some dungeons for quite a while that still allowed weird shit like that happening, but it for sure wasn't an intended mechanic.I don't think so -- at least complex pulling mechanics are gone in WoW. "Ok, Hunter trap X, mage sheep circle, warlock fear square. I'll pull Skull. God I hope we don't fuck this up" every pullThere were bugs in WoW in some dungeons for quite a while that still allowed weird shit like that happening, but it for sure wasn't an intended mechanic.
I started as the rogue applying Barman shanker to CC targets and eventually upgraded to the priest putting SW on sheep."Ok, Hunter trap X, mage sheep circle, warlock fear square. I'll pull Skull. God I hope we don't fuck this up" every pull
