Oh no sadly this did happen. She said as she was leaving"you're not the first guy to disappoint me, and I'm sure this isn't your first time either." I guess she was trying to say I'm always impotent? Idk. Whatever, I feel kind of bad but don't fucking play parlor tricks and pretend you're still thin. What did she expect was going to happen? I wouldn't notice?

I assume you mean she wanted a bunch of stuff she doesn't need; for me it's always the opposite, she says I don't need stuff that I just want.

I usually tell her that we already save about 75% of my income, thats enough, and if I don't buy stuff with some of our money, whats the point in having it? Doesn't really work but she gives me some space at least. Kind of a pain in the ass to always have that fight. I'd prefer she just give me some room to spend and have fun without making it a beatdown every time, and just get pissed if it gets out of hand (which it isn't and wouldn't).

My wife is the same. She's a lot better than me with finances, but my argument is I barely ever want something. I always tell her that if I am asking about something I want to get, it's a rare occurrence and probably important to me. She never gets it though. It's always some sort of semi-argument.

Yea, which means I tend to just buy things and not even tell her, because I don't want to deal with whatever she has to say since I know what it'll be. Then it's "why didn't you ask me." Well, because I know you'd just give me shit about it. If you were reasonable I'd include you more.

I pay for the mortgage and all the monthly bills (elec, gas, cable, water) so my wife pretty much knows you can't yell at me for buying things since I pay for almost everything. Really the only thing she pays for is the groceries which is probably about $400-$500 a month. I used to have her give me $500 per month as well but I've stopped that since we actually got married. I honestly don't know what she does with her money or where it goes. I only make 30k more than her but have to pay maybe 2k per month in occurring bills and I still have about 1k left over of money I can either save or spend.

We'll probably merge accounts here in the near future I assume
