I personally can't really chime in on this, as I'm the last person you want to take advice from on these kinds of things, but my sister actually did exactly this (visited a married ex-boyfriend in Germany and stayed at their place) and no real drama erupted out of it. So it is possible that it can work.

My cousin and sister are both hair stylists and for friends/family they will sometimes work in their own homes or after hours at the salon. It's not entirely out of the realm of possibilities it is a scenario like this. My wife got her hair done at my cousin's place and came home hammered.

Ex and I broke up ~12 months ago. I for some reason thought it was a good idea to move back to my home town. Sleep around and meet some girls, all kind of boring unfun stuff. Randomly girl from back in Pitt messages me, I've been obsessed with her since I first met her even though she's super young. We start talking more, eventually meet up, meet up again after, and again after. After last time she goes back to working seriously, we talk less and less because of it, I get paranoid she's losing interest. Maybe she is maybe she isn't. I contemplate moving back to Pitt and it scares the shit out of her because she's "afraid of commitment" or something. I still want to move back there for reasons unrelated to her but probably will not end up doing it for a while.
