You are not a beautiful and unique snowflake. You are the same decaying organic matter as everyone else, and we are all a part of the same compost pile.

Man to go from married to divorced to married again in 12 months absolutely boggles my mind

Right, so you're aware if you're common-law married, you are married? Saying "we weren't married, just common law" is like saying "I'm not pregnant, just got IVF and I'm due in 5 days"

Guys, he's just 27 and he was married once already. Go sleep with your ex in Switzerland. Who cares. I'm only 30 and look back on 27 as my childhood.

You and your common law wife are "married" in the eyes of the law. You break up but still remain living together in a platonic relationship for a further 12 months. During this "break up" in which no one moves out, she starts dating a man across the Atlantic and after (how long??) she moves to Switzerland and marries him.

Do I have this correct? If not what steps are missing?

Well it sounds ridiculous when you type it all in one post like that.

I'm not going to divulge any info about her relationship with her current dude other than they're married and live in Switzerland, anything else you gather from that is pure speculation. But yeah her and I lived together for a while after we broke up.

Yeah someone's going to track down their facebooks or some shit and harass them if you say how long they were dating and where he was at the time.

how do you legally "divorce" someone in a common law relationship while still living with them? Not looking for specific about you Sut, just has me scratching my head.

I am in equal parts entertained by Sutekh's sense of infallibility, the summary of events to date regarding his love life, and the eyes-rolling reaction of a_skeleton_03/slaythe/phazael.

Wouldn't it be great if the rerolled forum lasts ten years like the FOH forum did so 37 year old Sutekh can consult these posts?

Same way you end any other "marriage" basically. It's just like a normal divorce.

I'm not afraid anyone's going to go harass them, it's just disrespectful. Same reason I'd never post nudes of an ex or anything here.

I don't think I've ever claimed to be infallible and have even outlined my flaws for those hard to understand. I just love my ex and want to spend time with her, what's wrong with that?

I really don't see how such generic information is more disrespectful than the outline you've provided already.

I don't know about PA but a lot of places require you to stop living together for a "normal divorce" so that's probably what confused him.

Really that's weird, never knew about that. Wasn't really any problem, especially since we're such good friends. Because giving out random information about them can lead to people making judgments based off stuff they don't know.

Well if you would just be honest then we would know. All this conjecture is killing us on the inside. Come forth and let the healing begin young one.
