Was able to establish a more passive way for my wife to let me know, if she closes our door she wants sex. Doesn't have to say or do anything else. If she is already in the room she'll tell me "Close the door" instead of "I want to have sex". There is some sort of mental block there that makes her and clearly other women uncomfortable with saying it.
Oh and update, tried to talk to my wife about spicing things up and apparently at the diner having breakfast was not the right time to be discussing it or so I was told. I'll try again during parent teacher conferences.

Lol, you should have stuffed a breakfast sausage in her mouth when she told you breakfast wasn't the right time to talk about it. I agree doubling down with the parent/teacher conference is the way to go. Bring it up as you're looking at all the children's artwork lined up in the hallway.

That might be a great idea for my wife. She's seriously so shy. She tells me that she'll try anything at least once to see if she/me/we like it, but she won't ever initiate anything. She'll try it, if I start it.
