That man's body shape is not flattering. Did you think I picked it because it looked good? Saying that a 5' 9" male at 200 lbs is obese though is ludicrous, overweight sure. To say that he is a fattie that deserves a 250 pound woman IS trolling, faggot.
Hm the guy in the picture would be 1 inch shorter than me and 60 pounds heavier. I have a hard time thinking throwing 60 pounds of fat on my body I'd look anything like that.

His legs look much beefier than mine so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt of 20 pounds heavier in leg muscle -- even though that is unrealistically high. That would still be 40 pounds of flab no way I wouldn't look like a landwhale.

Really? Yeah getting married to the first woman who lets you get your dick wet is dumb, but he has managed to remain with that person over the long haul. He certainly knows more about sustaining a relationship than the dude who crashes and burns every couple years. The only thing that second guy is good at is keeping his stuff and finding the next failed relationship, in short order.

In this case, ignorance is bliss. And getting married to your high school sweetheart is pretty much the epitome of the male idealization of love. In both the husband's and wife's narrow world view, their marriage seems like a case of "as good as it gets". Neither party has any other experience with which to draw on, except the limited one they've lived since they were 18.
That doesn't necessarily make you better equipped to give advice on long-term relationships, it just shows that you're able to weather a bubble that you've never had to step outside of. It's pretty easy to pretend that you speak from a position of " greater" knowledge when you have lived under a particular narrative virtually your entire adult life.

If that is their viewpoint and they have grown up together before and after the marriage and developed not only a sexual attraction but a lasting friendship why would you not want to know how they did it?
I always hear this garbage about not knowing what they are missing both on young marriages and virgins before marriage. So what? If that person rocks their world who cares what other options are out there? Are you so broken and cynical that you can't stand it when a couple makes it without a ton of baggage and regret? Does it threaten your relationship and sex life that I got married at 19 and 15 years later I have two kids at 13 and haven't had a single hint at divorce or cheating? Do you seriously think I am only in my marriage because I think this is "as good as it gets"? It is just complacency from both of us?
Do you know how many divorces I have seen happen over my career in the military? How many long term relationships I saw ruined only for them to make the mistake again and again. Marry the same type person despite the incompatibility? These are the type of people with multiple semi long term relationships: people who learn nothing and don't actually take advice. They do the same exact mistakes over and over again and they are plain as day to those of us on the outside.
I don't have answers to fix any relationship including my own. What I have though are experiences and eyes to see what other people try and fail at. I have suggestions and ideas for people in bad situations based on things I tried that worked or maybe failed and things got worse and we tried something else. What I do have is time invested to grind through any problem instead of giving up. That is worth considerably more than a person on his 3rd - 15th long term relationship of a year.
Ignorance IS bliss, your ignorance that getting married at 19 and still being married at 34 is this easy blissful relationship and didn't take work ...
