surprised a cheerleader can hold down a full time job. I was always under the impression that the dancing stuff was in itself a full time job. Maybe there are some squads less dedicated than others.

I went to HS with a girl who became a Chiefs cheelreader. You only actually "work" for about 4-5 hours 8 times a season(most don't travel to away games). Unfortunately, all the practice time to get ready for those 8 games is on your own time on weekends and evenings. nobody makes enough as an NFL cheerleader to do that as their full time job. Hell, NFL referees aren't even full-time employees, their just contractors working on a game by game basis, most of them have other jobs in the offseason too.

The NFL knows how to hoard money like almost no other sport. They're on top for a reason. No pensions for their players, they don't employ refs, etc. They don't spend an extra dollar on anything if they don't have to. Of course the owners are all Billionaires because of it.

So people who come in and shake their ass for 8 games a year should be millionaires? No one is forcing them to be cheerleaders. If it took 40 hours a week 52 weeks a year to do the job then it makes sense that they would be full time employees but it doesn't sound like it's remotely close to that.

More like they get local governments to build their overly extravagant half a billion dollar stadiums. Very, very easy to be a cash cow when youre a government backed monopoly and on top of that government covers 90% of your production costs.

Exactly, thats the fucking problem. Hypocritical fucks cry and bitch and bankers and the like yet happily give half a billion dollar stadiums to the NFL so they can be ripped off on tickets to go sit in it.

Professional sports is a fucking blight on this country. Stupid cock suckers can name you the starting qb of a team from 25 fucking years ago and all his stats but can tell you who the secretary of state or who their senators are. Imagine if every sunday a few million people got out and protested their local senators house or capital building of the bullshit that gets pulled instead of lining up like the tards they are to watch some overpaid babies throw leather around.
