There's nothing wrong with a girl wanting her guy to do stuff for her, just like there's nothing wrong with a guy wanting that from his girl. People respond to different stimuli and if you want a good relationship you have to make the other person feel loved. That one is called 'Acts of Service'. I'm an acts of service guy. I respond well to them and do them naturally. When you look at what sorts of things might trip a girl's trigger, opening a door is getting off pretty easy.

I open the car door for my mom but very rarely for my wife. Maybe it's more common in rural areas because of the prevalence of bigger vehicles, my mom is barely 5' and 70 yrs old and finds climbing into the truck to be just enough effort that it doesn't seem to be that odd to be helpful.

Opening the car door when getting in seems less old fashioned then letting them out on arrival I would find that very odd on a date.

The best was when I had a lifted truck and I also had to give the wife's ass a little help up. I made sure to open the door every time.

Nah, we just made out again and I fondled her (depending on how far along we were in the relationship, obviously). I was never ready for the dates to end. The point of doing her seatbelt was the positioning. I said it was stoopit. Stop judging me.

It's the only way I can stay sane. The board is relatively dead at night too, I try to browse it but nothing is going on.
