I don't get how that clip indicates sword. Did they say sword somewhere in the audio I could barely make out? I did hear them say the word shield, but that's as close as I could come.
some shit about using shield records and cross reference with the sword database.

Do they even bother to look at the source material?? Wolverine is clearly a 6 foot 2 super model. /face palm
That's the most cutting rebuttal of a casting choice I have seen since the people who proved Charles Dace was a terrible Tywin Lannister because he wasn't bald.

Exactly, he's as well cast as Patrick Stewart as Prof. X imo. Also like said above the actor loves the part, which is 100x better than if he was a foot shorter or some nonsense. It's not like he's playing Puck for crying out loud.
Hes had 7 movies as the character , Not one of them were any good. Multiple directors, and multiple writers couldn't make him look good in a movie as Wolverine.

Get him, and Singer the fuck out.

Hugh Jackman isn't Wolverine. The entire Xmen movie franchise has been pretty empty feeling, with the exception of Quicksilver and Magneto in First Class. All other characters seem like shells.

What a terrible franchise with terrible people who support it, and we will never know if anyone can do it better because you keep supporting Singer, and his flunkies.
Was it really necessary to make both Wolverine movies successful so Jackman can say this year that I plan to play Wolverine for a long time ???

O But he loves the character /snivvle /snivvle, like that means anything....

You're basically saying I would love to have an actor who is terrible in a role because he loves it versus a actor who hates it, but fits the role completely with a great performance.

That Rerolled logic. I want to use that excuse for every artist now. Movie is shit, but the director loves the source material so he gets a pass! Get the fuck out of here with that nonsense

Yes they say Sword... Why do you think he would link it dumb fuck..

He doesn't even say it softly he Emphasizes the word "Sword" when he says they will cross reference the Sword Database.

I'd say the problem with the X-Men movies is more to do with the studio still not getting it, all of the comic book movies they release are shitty and full of unnecessary changes.

I love Deadpool but have little to no faith or interest in any Deadpool movie coming from Fox.

I am sure I've posted this somewhere on this board previously, but I absolutely hated Wolverine in the comics. Hugh Jackman actually made me like Wolverine again, despite my overwhelming hatred of the character for decades (started reading in the late 70s, X-Men 121 was my first comic, which I still have but not in great condition). You may hate Jackman, but plenty of us think he's just fine, if not great, in the role.

You don't deserve to ever own a Marvel comic

Just little FYI for all you retards do you know the man responsible for Wolverine Origins was? Yes, that was Hugh Jackman himself. The guy who thought it was ok to change Deadpool into Baraka from Mortal Kombat. Both The Wolverine, and Origins are his babies... He produced them ,and was heavily involved with their creations.

This is the man who says he want's to run that character into the ground till the end of time

O and there is plenty of Hugh Jackman haters out there

Hugh Jackman should not be Wolverine

But I'd miss out on the 3 million "Wolverine & <insert failing comic title here>" issues the 80s and 90s were plagued with though!

Which is why I despised him. They'd team him up with someone's mother in the comics if they thought it would generate more sales. I got sick of seeing Wolverine in almost everything. Stuff like the original four issue limited series was fantastic, but it just got out of control.

And I never said keep him because he does or does not love the character. I feel he embodies the character on screen quite well though, and made me like the character again, so mission accomplished on his part.

It's pretty funny. You hate Wolverine because he was forced down your throat in the comics, Column hates Wolverine because he was forced down your throat in the movies, but there's no common ground.

Imagine if they did 7 movies with the movie Cyclops. With the same writers that did all the Wolverine stuff. Got that mental image? Are you visually expressing your disgust at the monitor right now? Now imagine the actor was replaced with Nicolas Cage, any difference?

Appreciate Hugh Jackman more, and hate on the writers and the fuckwad that did X3. Because they're the ones that deserve it.

Jackman was the one that produced Wolverine: origins. Nobody gives two shits about writers when financing a movie so he could have hired someone really good for it.

It's all based of Director, IP, Star Power

Would have been interesting to see a Darren Aronofsky's version? Maybe, but it was using the same script as The Wolverine which was fucking awful

7 movies is enough he had his time, let someone else get a crack at it.

the obvious solution is to get Tom Cruise to do Wolverine.

Meh, I liked the Wolverine til the robot Silver Samurai showed up. Origins sucked tho, but I don't blame that on Jackman as much as I do a shitty script.

Jackman has said at Comiccons that he didn't liked Origins, and to retify he wants to bring wolverine into the era/setting that he likes the samurai setting, japan times, with The Wolverine.

Look, the xmen films suck, maybe parts of first class were nice and parts of DOFP were cool, but they all just suck in general, it's not Hugh Jackman's fault, he's just playing his part in wolverine, he like many movie stars have their own production companies (clooney has his own, they did the oceans 11 and others, pitt did kickass and 12years slave, will smith and all his horrible jayden movies, etc), he got his company in on wolverine

rigins and banked 25m, sure why not, in 2009 there were no other superhero movies, and wolverine was/is still super popular.

On tonights Shield

So not Secret Warriors? But another Shield that wants to over throw Coulson's..eh?

Daisy is able to turn her powers inward now,but it looks like it does major damage to her body.

Not sure if they did this on purpose ,or not but both Angar, and Karla Faye Gideon are heavily entwined into the Daredevil Universe.

There's someone we haven't seen that is running the current Inhumans Also.

BTW Cal is pretty close to Thor level power wise so I doubt he scares easy
