There's someone we haven't seen that is running the current Inhumans Also.

BTW Cal is pretty close to Thor level power wise so I doubt he scares easy

If you're talking about Zabo, he won't be anywhere near Thor's power until he actually perfects the Hyde formula. He said in the episode it was inconsistent and he was still working on it.

Karla Faye Gideon looked terrible, I was relieved when they mentioned they were actual razor blade grafts and not some kind of mutation, because they seriously looked like they epoxied a bunch of xacto knives to her fingers.

I'm waiting for Skye's mom to show back up. Whitehall used her power to reverse his aging, which would leave the door open for the possibility of Skye's mom to be able to regenerate - and Wolverine's certainly come back from worse. Plus, it seems sort of odd for them to use Dichen Lachman for all of the five minutes she's been in the show, unless we're going to start seeing more flashbacks involving her.

My guess is she is the one Cal is going to talk to. Isn't that the same room someone in the past trashed before Skye's mom talked to them?

It was similar to the room the eyeless Inhuman was manifesting his teleportation powers when Dichen Lachman was observing. Certainly has to be the same location, anyway.

I think you could be right that 'Mom' is the one calling the shots Inhuman wise, but they may well be letting Raina decide Cal's fate after he basically turned his back on her post-terragenesis in favor of his daughter.

Cal must have other powers like persuasion or pheromones, how else would he be able to convince seemingly unstable ppl to travel around in his mystery machine van o terror. No seriously, hilarious diner action aside, even the likes of Raina who "seems" to at least have some sort of control of people or men like lorelei (more like suggestions), seems to puppy love Cal with extreme daddy complex. (i mean it's suggested all he did was just find her)

so did that voice dude just up and murder everyone? and the chick with the finger knives was just silly, all i kept thinking was, why encase her fingers in these ridiculous metal tubes when all they needed to do was file that shit down or stick a bunch of corks on top of them. so what is the "Real SHIELD"? is that from the comic books or is this something new?

I'm still banking that "Real Shield" is some form of secret warriors headed by nick fury, and in the last few eps, skyae/daisy will have to decide if she stays with coulson/shield, inhumans or "Real Shield", as in she's a candidate scouted by fury tasked in a leadership position, and one of her new subordinates would be Ward.

Yeah, I don't get why something that was surgically attached can't be surgically removed. And I also had to wonder how she went toe to toe with Mockingbird for more than a nanosecond. She has no other "power".

With regards to all the horrible inconsistencies regarding Karla Faye Gideon, THE WIZARD DID IT. As far as the Real Shield, it's also possible that Bobbi and Mack are being set up and the Real Shield is Hydra. Bit of a long shot though and I agree that either Secret Warriors or SWORD are more likely since both those organizations deal with alien threats, but until we actually see a former major SHIELD personality, or they shove it all up in your face by introducing Abigail Brand, Real Shield could be anyone.

I really hope Skye's mother isn't still alive. She was vivisected and harvested, and while I'm sure Wolverine could survive that in the comic books, I always hated how obnoxiously powerful they've made his healing factor.

I say nay on Hydra/leviathan/AIM or whatever evil organization, nay on HAMMER as well, mainly b/c an eps or 2 ago we saw how extremely butthurt Mack was that they (SHIELD) were betrayed by friends, so i think there is like an extensive vetting process that needs to happen in order to get into "Real Shield".

As to why "Real Shield" exists and why basically they're double agents in Coulson Shield? "Real Shield" works in the shadows, but there has to be someone to be in the spotlight, someone to take all the heat and blame, and that's coulson shield.

As to momma skye being dead? i hope so, there also isn't an inhuman with a regen factor, i don't think. I mean yea inhumans are bit more durable/stronger etc, but not heal from vivisection durable.

Yeah but why are they trying to steal the tool Fury gave Coulson? If there was anyone of any real authority at Real Shield, they could ask for/demand it. I get that they're trying to stay clandestine, but it's going to be obvious that Mack and Bobbi are the ones who stole it, so there's some sort of trail leading back to Real Shield. That's why I'm on the fence about Real Shield being secret bad guys or not.

My first thoughts for "real Shield" was perhaps H.A.M.M.E.R. Second thoughts, Thunderbolts.

A HAMMER, with Victoria Hand being alive reveal would be pretty sweet.

Note that "Real Shield" has a much more militaristic logo with a medieval style shield and a couple of stars vs. the "Coulson Shield" which still uses the eagle-in-flight logo. Well that and Edward James Olmos is the head of "Real Shield" and Commander Adama doesn't exactly exude 'chummy'

Wait, is this confirmed? I remember hearing he was cast for the show. Also, I totally glossed over the different SHIELD logos, so I think maybe they really are just another branch of SHIELD, one that doesn't mind screwing over Coulson to further their own goals.

Waiting for Emergency Awesome to deconstruct it, but they are probly trying to do more research on the episode before making a video

Cal was giving them the opportunity to live one of their deepest, darkest desires. These people were either locked up by SHIELD or put in extremely uncomfortable situations to keep them in line. They probably fantasized for years about being able to get back at SHIELD.

The thing about Cal isn't that he's unusually persuasive, but that he sees value and convinces people that are otherwise cast aside of their worth and potential. Raina was just a homeless child until Cal showed up and convinced her she could be something more. Sure, it was purely a means to an end for him (just like it was with his ragtag band of X-Men rejects), but it's not hard to manipulate people who feel directionless and unfulfilled.

Coulson said even a whisper could make people unconscious (which makes it odd that he and Bobbi would run in without any sort of hearing protection), but I don't think those cheerleaders were supposed to have died since they just sort of lazily fell to the ground.

Didn't make sense that fury would be leading another section of "real" shield and spying on coulson, not like they are on bad terms, if fury wants the tool back I'm sure he can just ask for it. Seeing as shield compartmentalizes everything it's not surprising there could be another or even many other department offshoots of shield around, just a matter of who has the highest rank to take over. Real shield is kind of a dumb name, hopefully it does turn out to be one of the actual named factions in the comics.
