Yeah, I don't get why something that was surgically attached can't be surgically removed. And I also had to wonder how she went toe to toe with Mockingbird for more than a nanosecond. She has no other "power".
That's what I was thinking. They were surgically grafted on, so surgically remove them. Lamest supervillan ever. She reminded me of meg in that episode of family guy where they all got super powers *cue flashback*

I say nay on Hydra/leviathan/AIM or whatever evil organization, nay on HAMMER as well, mainly b/c an eps or 2 ago we saw how extremely butthurt Mack was that they (SHIELD) were betrayed by friends, so i think there is like an extensive vetting process that needs to happen in order to get into "Real Shield".

As to why "Real Shield" exists and why basically they're double agents in Coulson Shield? "Real Shield" works in the shadows, but there has to be someone to be in the spotlight, someone to take all the heat and blame, and that's coulson shield.
Any idea of 'real shield' being legitimate kinda blows up with them trying to steal the tool rather than just asking coulson for it.

It seems the person thought up the chick with the razor fingers was a writer from Agent Carter. Seems the writer's inspiration to make that razorfinger came from a story she was told about Vietnam women putting razor blades in their vaginas to maim GI's. That is why Razorfinger's back story was about her boyfriend abusing her, and she became Razorfinger to kill him and protect herself.

Except her boyfriend was the one who grafted the razors on her if I heard the son of Coul speak truly.

For me having the X-Men separated from the rest of the Marvel franchises was a blessing in disguise, because they are synonymous with 8764864 lame characters with lame powers. Smuggling the concept back in by calling it "inhumans" does not change that fundamental flaw, as demonstrated by this latest episode (even if some of those characters are lame by design because they are not inhumans per se).

well i am glad somebody in charge of quality control at agent carter had the goddamn good sense not to include such a stupid aspect in that badass show. more likely they were so busy demonizing the greatest generation of our time they didnt have time to add a chick with little pencil sharpener blades on the tips of her fingers.

I'm just thinking "poor Drea deMateo ". She went from Emmy performances to playing this sad sack.

if they just had her nails be razor sharp then maybe the finger steel makes sense...but as it was I immediately thought "why not rip those out..."

Yes, Ward is back next episode.

Anyways, none of Cal's team (including Cal himself) were Inhumans. They were all manmade. Thus far, only Skye, Raina, and Skye's mom are the only Inhumans we have seen. Actually, the fire dude may have been Inhuman possibly from the last season.

Eh, I'm pretty sure 'Inhumans' only gain their powers via Terrigenesis. That dude would have been dissected in a lab if SHIELD had found out he got his powers that way, and the son of Coul might have been better prepared for the diviner and what happened in that Kree city.

Its not out of left field to think there might have been a few people in SHIELD who were not Hydra but didn't like Fury's shit. Its probably well known that Coulson was Fury's guy and you could guess that he would run things the same way.

Razorfingers would have made more sense in Agent Carter, but she sucked anyway you look at it. At least in carter, she could have been a product of that super-killer-girl school who went off the deep end and it would explain her having halfway decent fighting skills.

Maria Hill was chosen as the new director mainly b/c she was not loyal to Nick Fury and thus didn't represent any of the "old regime", in 616.

Think of "Real" SHIELD as a Hill type regime. Still SHIELD just run by those who have different views. Since they made Hill loyal to Fury in the MCU, EJO must be that type of character.

if coulson is fury's right hand man, Hill (in MCU) would be his left hand woman. Historically aside from his man crush of dumdum (which in recent events has actually be revealed to be pretty sad, and very sinful), he puts all his trust in females.

"Real" Shield could also be new "Howling Commandos", these are the true SHIELD loyals who refused to join HAMMER (during dark reign). We just all have to figure out where Olmos fits in, he's obviously the director of whatever, cuz he's fucking Adama, he's not gonna take a minor role.

Since you put it like that, it would be pretty funny if he was the bagels and coffee boy for the 'real shield'.
