Oh, but make sure tho on your way out the door to tell THEIR boss why you left. It might give him a laugh, or he might just be looking for an excuse to skullfuck em.

I wouldn't burn any bridges, there's only so many that can handle mist

Showing them your offer would be a play as well.

Would you post less if you had a long drive and no work at home OT?

I say go for it then

Real Talk for second

Secure another job that you are prepared to take, Then ask for a raise at your current position.

DO NOT, leverage your new job to get a raise at your old job. What they will do is give you that raise and then let you go the second those two new hire scrubs are half competent in your position.

If you are half as valuable as you say you are they will give you a raise to a salary position with no OT and work you to death.

Something you might enjoy.

Ya. Never use an offer as leverage for more pay. They may give it to you, but as tiggles said, they will get rid of you when they are in a position to.

On another note, I have an interview tomorrow for a position on a newly awarded 5 yr contract. Salary should be well over 100k, but that 5yrs, that's an eternity in my world. My dick is so hard

Never play games. If you get a better offer elsewhere just take it. If you don't go around burning bridges they may make you a better offer down the line once your window licking coworkers prove how useless they are. Also, never let people pressure you into death marches like that. That was just plain stupid of you.

Had a meeting with my boss and his boss. They said I couldn't get a raise until December, because raises are only given once a year, and I'm looking at 6% at best, despite the fact that I won an award that is basically impossible for a second or third shift person to achieve, given that it is voted by the entire management staff of the company (outside of sales, that's a completely different arm of the company) and therefore requires that the majority of the management team actually all knew my name 8 months on the job and only for good reasons. After pressing further, they could push it to 10%, which still wouldn't bring me up to the level of the new hires.

They said my only course of action is to bring in a written offer from another employer and then that would get forwarded all the way to the CEO and senior VP of my division, for special consideration outside of normal dispersal of raises. But that honestly sounds a lot like metaphorically hanging myself.

Take that other job before the window on it closes. Give these chucklefucks the customary two weeks. If the other place doesn't hire you after the contract, these chodes will be happy to take you back.

They basically told you to keep walkin. You should probably keep walkin.

Yeah shorter hair and you nailed it.

On the topic of the job front, go to HR with this shit. What you are asking for is not unreasonable and if you really put in all that OT during crisis and male new hires are getting more, you have a pretty solid case for discrimination. Expect to have to get a new job either way, though. The minute you stop being a doormat (sounds like you may have already) they will start looking to replace you. Given your current situation, I would take that 6 month gig just to get a fresh set of surroundings. Consider it step one in De-Mistifying your life.

All she has to do is file a complaint or suit and she's a protected class and they won't fire her. I'm not 100% on this but I'm fairly sure all the lawyers I tune out at parties have gotten into heated fits over how much one employee can fuck you if the employer isn't on the up and up regarding hr
