Well as I said it's all Capcom games pretty much, GMG has partnerships with several big publishers and they pretty much always have a preorder discount because they're getting keys for cheaper so they reduce their cut compared to Steam. I bought World and Iceborne there, Rise and Sunbreak I think I got from another one cause I missed the sales on GMG or something(Fanatical maybe, they also do this stuff). Since they're official resellers there's not really any risk unlike the keys that end up on G2A or whatever so I like using them for stuff I want to buy on release. FFXIV expansions is the same and I grab them all from there too to save a bit of money.15% off on GMG, you a psychic?
Kinda rustled PS5 gets 3 extra days. But, I didn’t expect a beta test. Figured they’d have a demo with a single monster. Open Beta is way more exciting!
Well it is a demo with a single monster, kinda. You get the character creation, the tutorial story fight(which is technically a monster but probably massively scaled down for the tutorial purposes) and then the Doshaguma hunt, which is the one they've shown at events. Basically we're getting the event demo they've used to show off the game, which is still nice. Also data transfers over to the main game if you want to spend a while making your char and as is common with these demos you'll get a few consumables at release too(nothing crazy, a handful of megapotions and shit).Kinda rustled PS5 gets 3 extra days. Requirements are just having a Steam account and meeting the requirements to run the game. Also 29gb, it's a pretty big demo, wonder if it has a bunch of unnecessary info people with datamine. Consoles have no requirement, other than PS+ if you want the additional days. With only one monster imo it's not really worth it.Much better than the 8 month exclusive Worlds got. I assume, since it is open beta, that you don't need to pre-order it?
The World beta was the same and people figured out quickly how strong quad HBG was for speed runs.Well it is a demo with a single monster, kinda. Still is very nice to check performance, which is the big sticking point since the recommended specs are pretty fucking high.

I went ahead pulled the trigger and got a top end 4090 prebuilt gaming machine. I know I could have gotten it cheaper by building it myself but honestly I’m done with that at my age and doing it for 20+ years. I put one together at pricepicke.com and it was a few hundred dollars difference in price so I said what the hell I'll just pay someone to do it. Plus buying a prebuilt I get a two year warranty on parts and labor, not worrying about swapped GPUs out of the box and they shipped to me next day air for free.Seems I build new machines based around this game. Hoping the 3080ti can give me another year.
Watched Rurikhan’s stream for a while and it seemed to run pretty good on the PS5. He didn’t really complain about performance at all.Anyone try out the beta on PS5 last night? How bad was performance?
