Don't know if I'd go as far as to say that was a good game. Pretty questionable officiating at the end, to the point I'm glad the Cavs were able to pull it out, but I wouldn't expect Steph to play that awful again.

And I agree the likely scenario is him staying there, but you can at least see the possibility of a player like Love, who desires attention, buying into what some team executives say to him during free agency. Not likely, not probably, just possible...right? I'm pretty sure that's all anyone that actually follows the league is saying here. Anyone arguing it's a sure thing he's gone is reading too much click bait, stating it just to express a controversial opinion, or dumb.
This. I'm not saying he's leaving, but anyone saying it's a sure thing he's staying is just as dumb as anyone saying it's a sure thing he's gone.

I'll say this. If James wins this year with the injuries that have taken place that would be legendary in terms of NBA titles. I can't think of another team who has lost two of three of their would be stars and still won. Not to mention that the team they are going against lost what, two games at home the entire season and had the best record in the league. The Cavs seem to be playing the same game other teams would be playing against them in this situation - shut down the best player as best they can and let the others beat them. This series just got interesting in a very big way.

I don't remember you saying he's staying in any of your post. Just different reasons/scenarios of why he will leave. its obvious you're leaning to him leaving. Just stay with it. Rather that than you playing the wind here.

If somehow Lebron pulls this shit out, and the Cavs win the championship, I'll put him on MJ level. Knowing Lebron though, someone will turn up the thermostat a degree too high, and he will get cramps. Or eat chicken salad with mayo left in the sun or some shit....

I didn't say he was going either.
My posts were making fun of you dumbasses saying there was no way he was leaving because he said he wanted to stay.

MJ never smelled the finals until Pippen came along.

Or Horace Grant, the Zen Master, etc. Lots of rose colored glasses in this thread. I loved Jordan, but let's call it like it is.

Before the game I was reminiscing with a friend about good old 80s and 90s NBA and how this Golden State team would be a 54 win team and a 2nd round casualty. I'm not hating but being objective here. Curry would average 6 points less a game; one less three pointer, two point field goal, and a free throw. His turnovers would be much higher. The physical play would not be good for his game and the pretty much how Kerr runs the offense. The first time Curry drives in the lane in a playoff game someone like Laimbeer, Parrish, Grant, or shit even Terry Cummings would foul him hard and make him think twice about doing that again. No way he gets off so easy on screens and picks.

Why do I mention this? This is the only way the Cavs can win this series and they were one shot in Game 1 from being up 2-0. I don't know if they can sustain it though.

So, everyone who talks shit about James Harden, does this mean Curry is a chump choker loser who disappears in the finals now?

He wont get any hate because honestly hes not a versatile premier player like Harden, Durant, James etc. He cant drive it in and draw fouls against defenders, back people up in the paint and score, create inside shots. If his shot isnt hitting then hes just a liability on offense because hes gonna keep trying to make jump shots. Thats Steph curry, IMO hes way overhyped but I'm biased because I dont like him much.
