Got a weird achievement. Seems there is one for each trade-skill but this is the first I've seen.

Where did that drop? That looks like a named boss loot. I need me one of those.
Named pirate (was a quest mob) on the eastern side of Mourningwood.

Also, I rescind my statement about crafted items. I made a piece of the Depth armor and it was basically a worse version of the heavy starmetal stuff.

So there's jack shit for crafted armor between about 35 and 60. Disappointing.

I got that accidental achievement for making a named fire staff. Couldn't sell the thing though. It looked cool as fuck for a level 10 staff though.

El Dorado syndicate finally lost the one territory it held. Pretty sure I'm the only one that flags for PVP in the faction =D

Time to whore myself out to yellows so I don't get zerged.

Oh, I also ran the Depths and it was a catastrophic failure. I'm not sure if it's just cause one of our DPS was too low level (42, the other two were 46, tank 46, healer was me at 47; tank and one of the DPS had done it before), but we just couldn't kill the last boss at all. Think we tried about 10 times and I spent a fortune in repairs, and the best we got him was 1/4 left in phase 2.

Hoping it was just people that suck, but I dunno. It's definitely going to be a sticking point for some, and since it's the main story quest, it'll be interesting to see what happens.

The replicas are trash. You need to make the gear that requires 100 in armor crafting and you can actually make very solid pieces. The problem imo is that the 150 skill gear is 60 only which is dumb. 60 armor should be 175 and 50 to 55 should be the 150 stuff.

That's what I made. The 110 heavy armor that takes 10 corrupted talismans. It's...not good.

I mean, it'd be good for a level 30 something, but for anyone who can actually run the depths, it's not worth the trouble. I'll screenshot it next time I log in.

Unless there are dropped recipes for 40 to 55 armor (which would be dumb since they'd be super rare), I don't see anything to bridge the gap from the 100 armoring skill stuff to the 150. As I said, the 100 and 110 stuff is nearly identical, except the 110 shit requires dungeon drops and you can use the skill mods (the 100 stuff you use stat mods, which I actually prefer for these, since the skill mods are subpar stuff).

Just had 2 wars back to back, one loss, the attack and one win the defense. My third overall war. Those are fun but hectic as all. Tons of EXP too. Especially for the win on defense. Got about 5 bars to lv 50.

That last boss of the Depths both need a nerf and needs to be fixed. His telegraphs dont work and 1/2 the time he hits people before they even go off.

I've made gear that's on par with depths gear and I can target the mods I want a bit but ya I agree it's more for mid 30 to low 40's.

He can be a bit buggy but he definitely doesn't need a nerf. The biggest bug I saw with him is we had a party member die and respawn and he ran to the door and the boss was trying to attack him through the door and we basically got a free kill. The first time I did him it took 8 tries because we didn't have a real tank. Was pretty fun, everyone had to be on their dodging A game.

So yeah, looks super fucking cool, not even remotely worth the effort. Same required level as the normal starmetal stuff. Only made the chest piece, the rest is starmetal.

So I camped this dude before. His name is musclebeard. Only thing I could ever get him to drop was a purple rifle and a purple ice gauntlet. No luck on hammer.

So the way smithing works and outfitting is that your armor will never be better than droppable/dungeon/pvp stuff UNTIL you start slotting in rare resources. There's absolutely no reason to socket voidmetal and pristine claws into level 35 armor, so no one is really doing that, but if you DID, you'd see a high stat and ilvl jump for those items. Most people SHOULD be saving those rare resources for high end lvl 60 stuff to go for the big ilvl explosion crafts to truly min/max it.

In Beta Fae Iron seemed to be much more common (or I just had more luck mining food, not sure) and I was slotting it into weapons and they were coming out really well compared to other weapons found or crafted at that same level.

Kind of a crafting oversight, they probably should've added more blue/purple reagents specifically for tier 3/4 type of stuff that can be upconverted to T5 mats. As it is you wouldn't want to waste them, but if they dropped guaranteed from same level dungeons that would be pretty cool so people could fill their bad slots with juiced same-level gear that would last a bit.

Some one posted that there's a problem with the latest steam update and Easy Anti Cheat (EAC) that's making their games fail to launch. Not sure on a fix, but Steam Reddit should have more info.

Recommendation I saw was to NOT delete the EAC file like some recommend, but use an older steam client .dll file. Just a sec I'll find the post.

Anti Cheat does not trust the new steamclient64.dll
Temporary fix: Download older and working steamclient64.dll (or ask a friend who has not updated steam to send you theirs if you dont trust this file)

steamclient64.dll Download link 491

Some people may have tried other Fixes attempts like deleting the Anti Cheat Certification folder, IF YOU DID IT, you must check the game’s file integrity so the certifications get downloaded again.

Edit: I can confirm that fix above worked for me, but on the 2nd try. First try, I exited steam and dropped it in there. Steam downloaded new files when I started it, then I got the same error in new world. I tried again while steam was already running and this time it worked. Drop the .dll file in here with steam running - C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam

Fuck this man. The customer service is non existent. Never got a response about my entire lost shed and now my faction token cap is bugged at 15k despite being max rank. I never got the upgrade to 25k at rank 4 nor 50k for rank 5. And people have been reporting this for like 5 days.

This is the future of MMOs I feel like. 0 CS for debilitating bugs.
