Not just Cutler. Lots of QB's that are mediocre got huge paydays. Vick, Romo, Eli (despite his 2 championships), Flacco (despite his one). Really, the only ones who deserved that kind of money were the consistent performers. Rodgers, Brees, Manning, and Brady. All these other guys getting $100M deals were basically just fucking the rest of their teams.

I actually think the rookie pay scale was partially to blame. Bradford and Stafford got huge paydays before doing jack shit. Stafford may be somewhat deserving of it (he puts of gaudy stats, at the least), but not on his initial contract.

This is spot on, the old rookie pay scale was way out of whack.

Anyone know why Stephen Tuit and Marquise Lee have dropped so far? Would absolutely love Pats to grab one of them.

Andre Williams out of BC is one of the best college RB I have seen. In 3rd-4th round he will be a an absolute steal.Teams knew he was the whole BC offense last year yet he still had over 2100 yards on the ground.

I was referring to the fact both were considered top 10 near locks going into the past season. Now both are seemingly considered fringe first rounders.

I'd rather draft Orlando Pace again, but assuming the Rams play their #2 pick, I look forward to welcoming Watkins or Clowney to St. Louis.

Cutler started the trend, but Flacco took it to the next level. He's not even an average QB and he makes elite $. Even during his supposed spectacular run to the SB he was completing under 60% in the playoffs, he just never threw a pick.

Heard on the local sports talk radio show here in Atlanta that Golden Tate was doinking Wilson's wife. Any one else heard that rumor?

He is divorcing. That would be a pretty good reason. Can't be good for team harmony though.

That is what I was thinking. Seattle did not even seem to care about Tate leaving. Of course anytime I watched Seattle play, Tate seemed to drop everything thrown at him.

A season ticket holder friend of mine gave me the option to see the Bears Thursday, December 4th night game against Dallas (14th week of the season) or the (possible flexed) December 21st game against Detroit (16th week of the season and last regular season home game for Chicago). Any comments or suggestions on what game I should choose, or avoid?

Thanks.

Go to Chicago and take a picture of you kicking Cutler's ass for Brosar.

If I were a Chicago fan I'd go to the Dallas game, Chicago has just beaten the fuck out of Dallas the last few times they have played.

I'd prefer the last home game, against a divisional foe. But that's just me. I don't really like the idea of sitting outside at Soldier Field in December though.

Just a gut feeling, but something to me says the Falcons are going to give the moon for Clowney tonight.

There is precedent with what they gave up for Julio Jones. Guessing a swap of 1s + 1+2 or even 2 more 1s in 15/16.
