College football offers too much to simply rip it away. Its bad football but its bad football that is different enough from the NFL to be interesting. If they made an NFL D league it would be just as popular as CFL/Arena ... in other words not popular at all.

Yeah I just never saw the appeal in college football, i've tried watching a few games and it's just not enjoyable to me. 99% of the games are worse than the biggest nfl shitshows/blowouts.
