Carr feels rather similar to Stafford except he never had Megatron to throw to, not a superstar but above average and perennially stuck on a bad team. He's been good for 4k yards almost every year he's played which is pretty consistent production.

I'm sure Watson is looking forward to his career being ruined by Gruden's ego. No one good wants to go to Raiders while Gruden is there, unless they're at the twilight of their career and are looking to be overpaid and not win.
Gruden is so overrated as a coach - I'll always be grateful for him bringing one home for Tampa, but he really did win with Dungy's team (as evidenced by how good that defense was in 2002).
Gruden feels like the type that, if he can't figure out how to coach/teach a player, he'll easily give up and fall in love with the next one. We saw this happen a ton after the SB in Tampa - how he coached our various QBs and other offensive players. Part of being a good coach is being a good teacher and getting the most out of your players and I honestly think Gruden is absolutely trash at that.

I feel like Gruden is both overrated and underrated. People sleep on the improvements the Raiders have made since he's been there. Their big problem is their defense. Frankly I think Watson could potentially light it up in Vegas...but it'll just be like this year in Houston where he has to score 30+ to win b/c their D is so bad. Trading away a bunch of 1sts likely won't help that, either.
